Top Amazon Reviews

  • Very solid mid range unit.
Artidaig600 review I had the chance to use this for a few weeks, I have been a technician for 30-plus years, and I have been around many different scanners. Nice little unit, that fits the hands nicely, the controls are easy to navigate, screen is decently sized, responsive, and readable under most conditions. Free lifetime updates are a bonus even to the casual user. Auto VIN feature works nicely, on occasion it scans more than just the PCM/SRS/ABS/TRANS . I have seen wireless controls (Chrysler) TPMS, and central gateway scans among some other systems. The graphing feature along with stacking graphs together is a bonus. Newer FCA (Chrysler/Jeep etc.) need the 12+8 cable to bypass the secure gateway, it will read data but will not write data to the vehicle. You will not be able to clear codes without it. The Android interface is pretty direct forward, not the usual issues I have with other Android units. It doesn't lag like some others, the 32GB storage is more than enough, and some updates like VW can be over a GB.. Do update it on WIFI, not your phone... Updates seem to be frequent and installed easily. WIFI works nicely. Screenshots, screen record and the data replay work well easy to navigate and find. If you plan on typing on the screen for notes or feedback, use a stylus. Updates seem frequent and install without issue. The Library, TSB's are not easy to navigate, but for a reason. It's divided up into many subfolders to keep the number down and get lost in a sea of them. I just recommend looking these up online. The warning light library is basic at best. The DTC repair guide is VERY generic, a new user can get in trouble fast, replacing parts and not doing a proper diagnostic. The I/M part is great for repair verification and seeing if the monitor(s) have completed for State vehicle inspections. The battery voltage graph is a nice feature, even though it displays voltage on the screen while scanning. Reports are nice, I just wish I could print them more easily. Maintenance resets work for the most part where I expected them to. Some vehicles need a higher-end scanner for SOME resets. Generic OBDII/EOBD works great, I always recommend a scan with it also. Generic also holds some invaluable data for diagnostics. Solid unit for a mid-range scanner, and worked on almost everything I threw at it. 5/5 Stars... ... show more

  • Very easy to use!
Great little diagnostic device. Comes in a nice portable case and very simple to use. Works pretty quick and connects to vehicles easily. You can check for codes, clear codes, check OBD modes, battery voltage, the list goes on. Definitely recommend purchasing this device!

  • Great tool for the price
The media could not be loaded. Mopar owners beware: I didn't see anywhere about AutoAuth on this unit. So if you have a 2018 or newer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, DO NOT BUY THIS. Look for something that has AutoAuth capabilities. On to my findings, I hooked it up to my son's 2018 Hyundai Elantra It was EXTREMELY fast with auto VIN ID, and very fast with module scanning, I was impressed. While in the ecm, I was able to view a HUGE number of live paramters with engine running. There was a lot of info available in the TPMS module also. Tire pressure, temperature, ID numbers for each wheel, along with a lot of other parameters. Transmission monitoring was no disappointment either. I could view pressures, solenoid statuses, etc. Two downsides of this unit, was that you are unable to zoom while in graph mode, and a limit of 4 parameters in graph mode. Over all, this is a great entry level unit, and a good price for what it can do. Remember, a code does not mean replace an item, it is just a direction to start diagnosing. You have to find out what the reason was for that code to come about. Any code can have multiple reasons it was commanded on. ... show more

  • Check model coverage
It definitely does what it's supposed to. Love the life time updates. Very easy to use and I think it's important to note that you must check model coverage. Trying to reset steering position sensor on a 2011 anything... you'll have to do it the old fashioned way with a couple paper clips.

  • Great user interface
The media could not be loaded. I upgraded to this over my old Matco scanner as it wouldn’t do vehicles after 2006. This scanner is very capable but my favorite part is the user interface is very intuitive and the touch screen makes it incredibly easy to navigate. It has a ton of built in features other than just reading and fixing codes. ... show more

  • What a snappy machine!
Wow I can’t say enough about it. This thing has just impressed. It’s lightening fast which is awesome, it has the little spots on the side for your thumbs and although when it comes to scanners comfortability is a want not a need and most scanners or just ok. But just like other top don scanners this just feels good and I respect that. Now on to the more technical stuff you get your basic modules any DIYer will need to get into including srs pcm abs and tcm. On top of all this I can’t downplay this enough the speed to go through everything is lightening fast of got all the competitor scanners and they are just not this fast (other than snapon but I digress. One thing I just don’t hear people talking about is the LIFETIME free updates. The value right there is unmatched. Everyone else you’ll usually get two years but after that you have to renew for a few hundred bucks. Is this for a professional? No unforunatly not you could do most of your work with it but it doesn’t have bi directional controls. For the cons I’ve had it for a bit now and really I don’t have much to complain about. I do wish it came with a wireless obd port but at this price you’re just not going to get that. Other than that it’s rock solid. ... show more
