    • Great goggle! Two complaints
Very high quality product, but I have two complaints. The product picture for “Chromapop Sun Platinum Mirror” is highly misleading. The picture shows cool looking reflective silver lens. In reality, the lens is much closer to black and nowhere nearly as silvery or reflective as what’s shown in the product picture. I googled and made sure I didn’t receive the wrong lens. These are indeed the “platinum” lens, but they really shouldn’t be called platinum. They should just be called “black.” Regarding the ‘asian fit’ - the folks at Smith did well to add thicker foam at the nose bridge to improve seal and prevent cold air from getting in through the gap above the wearer’s asian nose. But they also made the google just a tad too flat, so now cold air just gets in around the outside of the eyes. Basically the “Asia fit” design solved one problem, but created another. But it’s no big deal - I always wear a helmet. And the helmet helps reduce these side leaks. ... show more

These goggles fit great on my face and I loved the larger view, but the lens were noticeably distorted towards the bottom. I think it would've made me nauseous if I wore them for too long so I returned them for the Smith I/O MAG style.

    • Perfect for high cheekbones
I was quite bummed the first 4D Mag I bought had a bit of a gap at the nose. Thankfully the "low bridge fit" works for those of us with high cheekbones too! The lens swap mechanism is really easy to use - potentially even with mittens on. There is a very slight distortion at the very very bottom of the lens where it curves but it doesn't bother me. The FOV is nice but honestly it's not **that** big of a deal vs the IO7. ... show more

I contacted Smith and they told me I have to ask Amazon first, like the product is not made by them. This is a joke. I will never buy anything from SMITH again.

Really disappointing, highly recommend to buy from a different vendor. Product is clearly labeled "asian fit" in several areas on product packaging, which is fine, but the product is not marketed with that label. The low nose bridge fit doesnt fit with me and the goggles are uncomfortable, prone to mist, etc. Again, highly recommend staying away from this seller. ... show more
