I don't know any different, with this being the only thermal imaging camera I have ever used. The quality seems quite nice, it is simple to use, and the image quality is great, I was able to see a rabbit across a field in pitch black. I used this to do an energy audit of my home and the battery easily lasted all day with juice to spare. It is also helping me find mouse entry points to seal up around the home. I can't find much wrong with it. The ability to take photos or video is nice, but I don't use that feature.

This camera has been amazing, I bought it to check on some parts i was worried about overheating on my scooter and monitor it after rides. It has worked perfectly for that and then some. I was able to see what parts get the hottest after my rides after suspecting it was the motor it was actually the tires. I was also able to monitor my brake temps. After messing with the camera for a while i saw it has different color modes some work better depending on what you're trying to view i find that the white hot and white/red hot give you the best view while the standard ir color rainbow is good for just about anything. Pros: it is very comfortable to hold, The overall feel is very premium with the rubber grips and the nice padded carrying case. The camera turns on pretty quick and the battery life is very long after all my testing it only went down 1 bar. It also came just about fully charged. Temp readings are very accurate. Cons: The camera has an auto refresh with the default time set to around 15/30 seconds go protect it from overheating which causes a small lag i set the refresh to 50 seconds and its way less annoying. When taking video with the camera the timer overlay is shown in the footage instead of being hidden hopefully than can be changed in a future update. Overall its a great camera it has many uses outside of just cars, e scooters it can spot missing insulation (which i have tested) and water leaks also noticed it can show you what electronics you have plugged in using a lot of current and producing heat. This camera was well worth it and i plan to own it for a long time.

This is an amazing thermal camera. It is extremely easy to use. It is also very durable and built very well. You can use it to find all the cold spots in your house or to find where your car engine is getting hot. I would highly recommend buying this product. I use it a lot and love it.

The quality appears well made. The display is not as sharp as a lot of the pictures show and varies depending on the distance and the color palette that you choose. The case and the recharging both are good. The manufacturer should decide to name the models differently when there is a difference in the size and/or function of the tool. Instead of renaming the models they keep the TC004, TC004 Mini, TC004 SE all with varying specifications. It is on average a good thermal imager for what you get and there are others in the same price range with varying features. It is NOT a FLIR OR FLUKE brand quality but also nowhere near the price either.

Good value and lots of features. Comfortable pistol grip and easy access to controls. Read the manual and look online for reviews, particularly video reviews. These will help you understand the operating functions. I use around the house and it’s helped me to find thermal leaks.

This is for the TC004 SE. This is a great handheld thermal imager with a lot of different functions. There's tons of different thermal views you could use. I found it nice that it gives me the hottest and coldest spots in anything I'm looking at, along with the temperature where the cursor is pointed-- telling you three different temperatures at the same time. This is a lightweight handheld but it seems durable enough. The size is the same as any other thermal camera. It's not the cheapest on the market but not the most expensive. The screen has good resolution so you can pick out what you're looking at.

Originally had the mini version but found that did not have the resolution I needed to accurately see some subtle changes in heat behind walls or paint. I first noticed the difference when I looked at a wall and could see the heads of nails clearly with this device but not at all with the other one. This model does not say it has TISR but the other one that did could not match the effective resolution of this device even though it said it should with the enhanced capability. Would recommend getting one at the optical resolution you need vice one that can digitally enhance the image.

This is a glorified home essential. Its nice to check if water is leaking, and even with our heated steering wheel on the car. It told us part of it was going out without thinking we are going crazy. Very easy to use and self explanatory. Highly recommend if you are a homeowner.
