Incredible detail on all heat signatures. Able to see quite a bit, and I was actually a little concerned about making the purchase that I even tried to cancel the order...no bs. I have to say this is making Flir looking a little on the weak side. I own Flir imaging products, but this right here for a fraction of the price is incredible, unbelievable to the eye. Outperforms some of my Flir products but hey, someone had to score better. I would at least get this model, I am sure you would not regret the purchase. I will put it this way, I have different brand and more expensive device that just wont pick up a hot water line behind a wall, this thing here picked it up even after being 3.5” away from sheetrock wall. Dont believe me, check out the image on my review. The fact that you can take videos, use an app to connect and live stream it within the same network is actually extremely useful. I can be imaging something in one room while i have other people looking at the live stream. This is game changer for sure. Amazing features, great color pallets and the fusion function is exactly what you need to much better show people with detail what you are looking at. I would definitely buy this again, and I may buy an upgrade version. This is just crazy how well and how good the imaging is. Im sold, and thank you for uncancelling my order, whoever did that just did me a solid, and I am glad you guys did. Thank you for such a great product. I will definitely post an update after using this at work for about a month. Stay tuned….

This things is so sweet. I’m just a diy homeowner. Very easy to use. It’s simple and intuitive right out of the box but has valuable settings and functionality. I’m on a mission to fix the “heat leaks” in my house. This helps me identify things I can’t see with my bare eyes — and prioritize those fixes. I found 2 overly hot electric outlets (someone else can fix that, thank you). 3 insulation voids. I can see exactly where I need to beef up caulking, sealant, trim, thermal curtains, insulation. Already insulated my garage doors and fireplace with great results. And I’m able to actually track the results with numbers, pictures, video. So I know it’s working. Couldn’t be happier. Also the screen resolution is stellar.

The media could not be loaded. Original review of first thermal camera: Seemed pretty nice at first until I noticed some artifacts in the display that is apparently an issue with either the lens or the IR sensor itself. See the video. Returned for refund after no response from HSFTOOLS. They reached out to me and sent another one that works perfectly and has no artifacts in the display.

I returned my flir because i was so impressed with this camera. I do hvac professionally and this camera is a game changer for the radiant floors and general diagnosis. I was able to find hidden radiant manifolds that were in the wall because it picked up the heat they were emitting. The quality of the images and heat signature is incredible.

I have been wanting a thermal camera for years. Finally found one with acceptable resolution at a reasonable cost. Works exactly as I had hoped. Did a thermal review of whole house. Found cold spots around windows, in walls and ceilings and could sometimes identify individual 2x4s. Had a concern about auxiliary furnace heat, but camera showed vents had correct temperature. Checked circuit breaker panel and misc. appliances. Checked heater under bird water pan. Checked led light bulbs and found that electronics in base gets quite hot. App works OK so far. Still low on the learning curve. Have to be careful about pushing the wrong button on the app because that changes settings on the camera. I am looking for a generic app to just view/record real time video on friends' phones as I survey their houses. No luck, yet. Overall, I am very pleased with the camera!

The media could not be loaded. Update: There seems to be inconsistency with HFSTOOLS support, maybe multiple people using the same name or they're using AI. They requested if I wanted a refund I agreed, then HFSTOOLS requested I reach out to Amazon for logistical support. Overall, unclear I work in supply chain; so your product is only as good as your support. ------ Initial: Initially the camera was blurred on the side. So I reached out to support and they did not respond to my concern. Later the thermal sensor went from working mostly with artifacting on the sides to inconsistent temperate gradients. I am unsure if this is software or hardware, but the consistency of the thermal imaging is making me question if this is a validated product that I can trust. Additionally, support for this product at this price range makes me hesitant to recommend this. Build quality is great and feels solid, comes with a carrier. However, the unit does not function correctly even with it's build quality.

The WiFi works quit well - better than expect. It can throw up its own hotspot that you can log into but must drop off of any other WiFi. Or it can log into an existing network and become discoverable by your phone/tablet. The UI on the phone App is vastly easier to us than the 4 button UI on the device. The button interface is ok for just basic scanning and point and shoot pic's. Image quality is very good. The myriad options/adjustments is a tempting habit-hole to be sparing with.

This camera is amazing. It’s hard to believe how sensitive it is to temperature changes. I can actually see the studs through the walls and also footprints where someone just walked. Should have purchased years ago. I am a contractor and this device is a wonderful addition to my tools
