Bought these pumps for 2.5 gallon jugs of laundry detergent and mop liquid. The straw piece of the pump doesn’t reach the bottom 1/3 of the jug, making them completely useless.

Pump is fine but NOT a universal fit. I needed a top for a large vegetable oil container that has about a 2" top. This top fits a larger opening- more like 3". I happen to have a couple of large chemical containers that have this size top so I can use it but it does not fulfill the purpose that I bought it for. Since there ARE multiple size tops on 2.5gal containers the description should include better sizing info. ... show more

This pump is advertised as 10 x 5 x 2 inches and its actually 2.5" diameter so does not fit a 2.5 gal container with a 2" opening/thread.
