Great starter 3D printer! Purchased this after seeing a Facebook video of someone recommending it and since it wasn’t a paid ad I looked into it. Set up was very easy and user friendly, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS closely! We downloaded the app to use that way but there’s many other ways to use it. It’s literally as easy as setting up, connecting to the app, and you can start printing. There’s various troubleshooting stuff listed but I personally did not have any issues with set up or operation. I did a test print which was great and then after that we did a few other prints. I believe you can do objects under 12inches at a time, but I imagine you can piece things together for a larger item. Great option for an affordable and user friendly 3D printer!     • Was great until it stopped working

I purchased this printer approx. 3 months ago, and everything was great, the printer was working well (although a bit slow) for the first ~30 cycles; then, I tried loading a roll of PLA (which may have been slightly dry) and the printer immediately jammed up. I tried trouble shooting multiple times (replaced the nozzle etc.)(even watched the crappy and misleading video on YouTube, as recommended by the manufacturer) - to no avail. Since the hotend is only covered for 60 days by the warranty, I have no option but to toss this printer and start fresh with a different make an model. So disappointing :( Edit: I just received my Bambulab a1 combo today, and, holy moly that thing is infinitely better than this piece of trash. Do yourself a favor and spend $100 dollar more and get yourself a Bambulab a1 mini or something. Their print speed and quality are a million leagues above this one here. ... show more

    • Great but complicated for children under 13 or more
Love it, it works great. The only complaint is it is complicated to use and not as easy as they lead you to be. We need our 15 year old teenage daughter, or me the parent to do all the set up for each printing as its to complicated for our 9 year old.

Really great quality printer! Not the most user friendly though. You have to download an app on your computer in order to download the free items to print on to a memory card (with included USB converter) and then put the memory card in the printer in order to print. It comes with everything you need to do this. But there’s a little bit of a learning curve with this, so it does take an adult to help with this, but once you’ve figured it out, it’s easy! I had ordered separately some colored filaments that turned out to be the wrong size. Having never had a 3D printer before, I didn’t realize there were even different sizes, so just make sure you take note of the size you have, so that you can order the correct replacement size. Overall, super happy with this purchase! I’m sure the more expensive ones are a little easier to use, but this one isn’t hard after you do it once. ... show more
