Came across 3d printing via YouTube just by chance but immediately fell in love with the idea of owning a 3d printer and doing 3d prints. Did a bit of research and narrowed my brand of choice down and eventually settled with Bambu Lab. The P1s seem to be the ideal machine for a person entering 3d printing and it give room for growth before eventually spending big on a more professional machine. This machine is top tier. Print quality is flawless, not very loud IMO and the speed isnt bad at all. Ive made around a 100 prints in a month with around a 95% success rate. Failed prints are inevitable but in my case it was user error. The build of the P1S looks and feels premium. Paired with the ams and you have a very capable, reliable machine that has the potential to pay for itself in only a few months. It connects to all my devices flawlessly, auto bed leveling.....perfect. I would definitely recommend and would certainly buy again.

Works as intended, easy to use, prints are fine, decent speed, good quality, also prints flexible toys with joints, you gotta learn about cure time but other than that it’s a solid purchase, I will most likely get a resin printer next, always buy the AMS upgraded version. I am just a beginner.

Love this 3d printer, I will work flawlessly in you take the time to learn. Most of the problems that ( and I bet others) I have were cause by the user(me). I have had three printers from other companies that have been returned or getting repaired. I’m happy with this printer.

While no computer expert, I have used several laser cutters and 3D printers and have designed and printred many 3D objects. So, I am not a novice at these devices. After a lot of research I chose this printer for many reasons. However, I have been disappointed at every level except the print quality, which is outstanding. Based on the reputation of Bambu, I guess I am an outlier, but I find the software clunky, confusing and not intuitive at all. The setup, the "binding" process with Bluetooth and WiFi, tok me an hour to figure out. The screen is a total embarrassment and looks like something from the 70s. A cheap AnyCubic printer I have owned had a much better screen. Just within a week of use I received several error messages with no suggested resolution. I have spent several hours within just the past week trying to get this thing to work reliably. The final straw was that I think the hot end is actually defective as I cannot advance, nor can I retract the filament from the print head. All of this to me is completely unacceptable for a new unit. Unfortunately I am returning this unit, which is a lot of trouble because I have to pay for boxing and packing materials as Amazon does not cover this, as weil as all of the time I have wasted trying to get something that should have worked reliable out of the box. This will be my last purchase of any kind from Bambu. I'm giving the printer a three to average the amazing features it has (5 stars) and its bad, annoying, and inexcusable features (1 star) As a piece of hardware and a 3D printer I am extremely impressed by it. It is amazingly fast and the print quality is fantastic. It is well designed and very solidly built. The downsides come from two things: 1. The screen is absolutely pitiful and inexcusable. It ilike something out of the 70's. One of my previous 3d printers was an AnyCubic which cost under $200, but the screen was much, much better and had much greater resolution. The Bambu screen works and does it's job, but it is difficult to use and scroll between choices and settings. It just looks so primitive and sad on an otherwise sophisticated machine. Interestingly there are 3rd party replacement screens available. To me, making the screen of a new printer so bad to even have to consider upgrading is just not good business. This alone will likely prevent me from purchasing another 3D printer from Bambu in the future. 2. The software interface between the various scenarios is confusing and complex to set up. Seamless it is certainly not. It took me about an hour to even get the printer linked to my wifi and bluetooth. So far, I have not figured how to "bind" my desktop Bambu Studio with my printer. In summary: the printer itself is amazing, but the software interface is confusing, difficult, and not well integrated. Not Bambu's fault at all not a criticism, but you definitely need a YouTube video on the unboxing and setup, as this is a complicated piece of hardware that many has many steps for setup.

3D Printing can be very complicated... but I have found that Bambu and the P1S make it easy. The initial setup instructions are easy to follow, and from the very first print, prints have been successful. The documentation is extensive and will take some time to read and digest, but the support documentation is also very good for a beginner to learn about each feature of the P1S and 3D printing in general. The Bambu Studio app is easy to install, very intuitive, yet extensive in its ability to control a print.
