So I have always preferred Elegoo over any of my other printers. My older Saturn was a breeze to use and this new upgrade is no different. It's quiet, reliable, and the only failed prints I've had were my own fault (lousy supports and all that). The build plate is massive, and as I do a lot of larger 1:9 to 1:6 scale models, I have tons of room to put the parts on. The moving resin vat honestly is a game changer. Being able to move from medium supports on some of my older printers to light ones on the S4U has been so nice. My prints come out smooth and crispy and the detail is amazing. I honestly cannot recommend this printer enough. It's very reasonably priced for the quality of the printer. You get such a bang for your buck. It's a great printer, by a great company, in my experience.

awesome printer, it came with 1000g (900ml) bottle of mint green resin for me to start printing. out of the box im sure some purist says to change every setting under the sun and then tweak the one under the rocks and boulders too. im a dummy, so I poured my green goop in after removing all the protective films (under the resevoir too), an update later and i was printing fast. i was impressed with the ambient noise of the printer and the speed and quality out of the box! i failed 2 prints but id say user error. its bound to happen. only complaint would be resin pooling up on top of the build plate. i printed a 45 degree bracket piece in an hour and 10 mins, to fix this. if elegoo could include a piece to help drip the resin off the plate as an official part, out of box , that would be great but ill take what i can get. that aside, quality printer. i git it on sale so its that much better after my old one broke

I have been 3D printing for a while. I decided to replace my Elegoo Saturn 2 with this printer since it was older and started to do things that pissed me off. I also have a Saturn 3 Ultra, so it was time to upgrade the older one. Let me tell you, this printer, the Saturn 4 Ultra is everything I ever wanted my other printers to be. The fact that I can send the file through the network instead of running round the house with a thumb drive is a game changer. Also, I love that it has a built in camera with an automatic Time-lapse feature. I posted my first one here. Setup was easy, just get it out of the box, update the firmware, connect it to the Wifi, and GO! The auto leveling feature is amazing. I don't have to worry if it's going to fail because it's 2mm unbalanced or whatever. The quality of the first print was incredible. You can see individual hairs and the texture of the fabric of the print. So clear. Lastly, it's not too noisy. Not any more than my other printers. It makes different sounds that I'll have to get used to, but not annoying at all. Get this printer! I kinda want another one so I can replace my Saturn 3. :)

Much better print quality than my older Anycubic and Elegoo Mars. Prints stick to build plate much better (though still occasionally get stuck in vat.) Great that you don't have to align the build plate. Sending jobs over wifi (mostly) works. Beware of doing a firmware upgrade -- this messes up some settings from which I have not yet recovered.

Right out of the box this was able to print fantastic 3d models with insane details. This is my first 3d printer and i was able to jump right in to the hobby with zero problems. The user interface was very easy to use and the included software is very easy to import 3d model files and add required supports. I thought I would have to spend more to get these results on my first attempts in the hobby but this was a great deal. I will say one thing I had to do was use a little bit of fine grit sandpaper on the build plate to get the resin to stick better, had 2 failed prints early on that weren't sticking. proper light sanding and cleaning fixed it immediately. Another helpful tip is to set your base layer exposure time to 40-45 seconds instead of the default 32 seconds. Also make sure whatever surface you are putting this on is completely flat/level or else your prints will not stick! Besides that this has been awesome to use and im addicted already. I included a picture of a an Oni mask and a small corpse mound figure. The tiny little hands of the skeleton came out perfect even, added a single match for scale :D If you're on the fence, get one! You wont be disappointed.

This machine seemed fantastic at first. The print quality was amazing. The issue is the build quality is extremely poor. I purchased one and in less than two weeks the electronics completely failed. WIFI went out and the screen would not function. I sent it back thinking I just got a defective unit. The second unit failed in about the same amount of time. Within a week I started getting screen failed self check and the resin tank would not be recognized. The software is an absolute disaster as well. Sometimes it works and sometimes you import an STL and it hammers your RAM. Constant crashes and freezes. Another issue I could not overcome is the peel film failing. I could never get more than about 4 or 5 plates before the prints started sticking. Larger models worked maybe 40% of the time.

Easy to use, excellent print quality. It is my first resin printer and my experience has been very positive since day 1. After watch a bunch of reviews in YouTube, you get kind of intimidated with all the resin hassle and other stuff the reviewers talk about. The truth is that is much simpler and straight forward and this Saturn 4 Ultra is an amazing machine to start and keep for years.

So glad I went with this printer. It worked perfectly out of the box. This machine paired with Lychee slicer is a very cool experience . Ive been printing D&D minis with great success and I am about to print a Warhound Titan. If your just getting into the hobby and not sure what printer to get, get this one.
