I have used Timetec for years, they may not be a household name, but they have great quality products. And, this ssd is no exception. I bought this to upgrade my Valve Steam Deck. Installation was a snap and it has been rock solid. And, read/write speeds are amazing. Great product!

This nvMe form factor 2242 fits my Lenovo 11e laptop. The laptop came with a 100 GB nvMe drive. The cloning to the new drive was very quick. I use this drive for a Linux system. Advice for cloning, I cloned the old to the new drive using the command line. Then I resized the small partition that was cloned on to the new drive using gparted. You will to boot your computer from an OS on a usb or other external drive.

I used this to replace an m.2 SATA drive that came in a mini PC I recently bought, and it works perfectly. It's more than triple the speed of the drive that was in it, making the unit more responsive. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but due to the low price compared to bigger names I gave it a try, and I'm glad I did. Definitely worth it.

Originally I was only going to buy one of these, as my motherboard (an Asus TUF Sabertooth X99) only has one NVME slot, but before I completed checkout I looked up the prices on 2tb SSDs, and they average around $180-200, and thats for SATA 3 2.5in style ones, NVMEs are close to twice as much (at the time of me writing of course, there are some good lightning deals on them every now and then). So I went to my cart, and added a second one, and a 110mm M.2 PCIE to 16X adapter (that is the 6$ one Amazon recommends halfway down on the listing) for a total of $146.99 before my states taxes (but also free shipping, 4 days from SoCal to South Shore MA)!!!!!!!!!! After installing them, I formatted them as Raid 0 via Disk Management in Windows 10 (supposedly the best method for NVME drives according to a Puget Systems Research Article) and got close to 2X the read and write speeds of a single drive! (read speeds are close to an average PCIE 4.0 drive) While it may not be important right now to have high read speeds when it comes to gaming, that will probably change once more Multiplatform games come out that are ports from the new Xbox and PS consoles as they have high performance SSDs now instead of hard spinning rust drives. Note: While these speeds are very fast, I do recommend that if you intend to do the same as I did, make sure you keep backups of anything important like pictures or movies or other files in the cloud or on another drive, as if one drive goes south, EVERYTHING IS LOST because of how Raid-0 splits up the bytes of data to each drive. Ill be using this mainly as game storage or a scratch disk for editing photos and videos I plan on posting somewhere.

I purchased this in hopes of replacing the 512gb ssd in my legion go. After cloning the drives, my go would not read the new drive to boot. Multiple attempts and nothing. It being a double sided drive, the space was tight so maybe it couldn't seed right. Took the drive out, old one in and now using the new 1tb in an enclosure as an external ssd. Works great like that. If upgrading in a Legion Go, stick to single sided drives.

This product is single sided, only 2.3 mm depth, which makes it perfectly compatible with Thinkpad nano. Double sided would not work in Thinkpad nano. Also the price is great at $50 for 1tb capacity. Just bought but works perfectly so far.
