Even though the product is well engineered not that hard to install, i’m not too sure about the bracket that installs to the electrical box how well that would hold up in a Highwind. Also says it’s not suitable for 40 Celsius which is about 105° so if you were putting it in direct sunlight in desert climate what do you have an issue? ... show more

    • This security light is well made
Although the wall light is only 3000 Lumens, it is super bright, as shown in the photo. It was very simple to install. Mount the mounting plate to your junction box with the screws provided, which also has a built-in level, use the hanger wire on the back of the light fixture for easier wire installation, and mount the light fixture to the mounting plate with the pre-installed set screw and tool provided. Can be used for dusk to dawn, or switch controlled. If you have a dark corner or area that could use a little extra lighting, I recommend this light. Mine is roughly 19 feet off the ground and guessing it shines out more than 40 feet. ... show more

The TIERONE 200-watt equivalent LED dusk to dawn light is the perfect light for lighting up my driveway at night. The light was very easy to install; you could either mount it to an electrical box or right to the surface as I did. I ran the wires into my attic and placed a switch there if I need to cut off power to the light. I use the dusk to dawn feature, and it functions perfectly. My wife feels much better coming home at night to a brightly lit driveway. The light fixture is very well made and sealed against all weather. After mounting it to the gable end, I ran a bead of caulk around the housing, except where the mounting screw is located. This is a great security upgrade to my home. ... show more
