Product arrived as promised in a well packaged box. It arrived on time as well. Basic assembly was minimal and the included template was nice. There are mounting plates and hardware included which is nice both the light and solar panel can be removed with no tools required, as both bases slide into the mounted plate. It charged all day and we test tried it and for a small light the output was impressive. I was not trying to light a huge area so I only used 1 of the 2 lights sent (for now). I'm only trying to light up our side gate when approaching from either side. Just trying to give my wife and her friends a little more peace of mind at night. I mounted the light fixture higher than the reccomended 6ft as I did not want to mount it into the stucco side wall of my house. The light is over 10ft high and the solar panel is another 2ft higher to get full sun all day (see photo). Pleasently surprised when after returning from dinner when approaching the gate, it lit up just how I wanted for about 20 seconds. I went around and tried to see if it would motion sense me from the other side of the gate and it worked perfectly. Woo-hoo! 👍 I really am satisfied so far in all respects. I cannot add much to how reliable this will be over time, as it's only been up and operational for a short time. This light is great for a house entry area. Very bright. The first one received had a problem with the internal software and the settings didn't work properly. Tanbaby support was very helpful and shipped a replacement which worked perfectly. Would be a five star if first item worked.

Item worked fine when first receive. Not as bright as they state, but usable. Biggest issue is that the solar panel cover develops a crusty coating over it, preventing the sun from recharging the battery. Might be ok in China, but not in Florida!

I truly liked the operation of these lights but unfortunately they are not waterproof as claimed in the description. I purchased 8 of these, 2 of them were mounted with the light not shielded from the rain, both of those leaked water internally and failed. I contacted the seller twice asking for replacement of those 2 but they failed to respond. I will never understand the thought behind totally ignoring a customer. Update! They contacted me and are replacing the 2 that failed. I will reply here if that does not happen. It took over a week and I received the new lights and changed my rating. Thank you. ... show more

It is not 4000 lumen, only 1000 lumen at maximum power, when it is in dusk to dawn mode, it only emits about 100 lumen which is very dark light, the light is very dim, as it said 4000 lumen we bought it because other similar models said 3000 lumens, However, those 3000 lumen lights are more powerful than this one that says 4000?, it is unfair that they advertise a high amount of lumen that the product does not provide, the majority of people who buy this type of product, we use it in dusk to dawn mode and none of those who sell these products do not say How many lumens do they provide in this mode, they say the maximum but this maximum only lasts 20 seconds and they don't even deliver that power of light, I hope this technology evolves and later they provide products that really work, that illuminate a good constant power all night, I have a light meter, it was measured at 1 meter distance from the light only, front to front. ... show more
