This light was so beautiful. I loved the design and that it's solar. I originally bought this for my porch. I actually bought two of them to hang on each side of my porch posts. I already have string lights along my fence, I have solar tiki torches and the these lights made the PERFECT addition! My yard looks magical and whimsical during the evenings! I did return only because of the pull string. I needed them to auto turn on. But if we had a shed, it would be perfect for that. BTW, they are so easy to install. That's the other beauty of it. It comes with screws. They also come with a remote so you can control the ambience of it from inside your house. I'm sure that also depends on the distance, but from where I was, it was just a glass sliding door that was between me and the lights. ... show more

Perfect little light for my patio gazebo! I love that it is solar power and does not need to be plugged in. The size is just right for hanging as a chandelier. Not much to do to install. Just hang it up! The price is very affordable.

    • Worked well, however…
This worked well as a gazebo light that you turn on when you want it on and turn it off when you want it off. This is not the type of light that you turn on and leave on forever and have the sun recharge so that it will turn on by itself every night, like pathway lights. The chain is short. In my case, the ceiling center in my gazebo is about 10 feet. There was no way to install the light in the center and be able to reach the chain without an extension. The light is not too bright, but it is definitely bright enough for a 12 x 12 gazebo and provides good ambient lighting. You would not be able to use this to read by but that’s not what I wanted anyway. I felt the price was good for what I was getting. I just wish they had included a longer chain. The remote works, but you need to be within 5 feet of the light so since I tend to lose remotes, the chain works better. You wouldn’t be able to keep the remote in the house and turn the light off and on with it from any distance other than being right in the gazebo. ... show more

This is amazingly bright for a solar light. It looks very elegant and it was affordable. It stays on all night and well into morning. The long cord to the solar panel is great. It’s long enough to get it to a suitable area to charge. The only thing I don’t like is the pull chain feature, especially the large housing it is wired in. It makes it really hard to hide and disguise along a wall or beam. I wish I could remove it, but that would make remote not work! Aside from that one feature I’m happy with my purchase. If your looking for a nice looking porch, patio or gazebo light then this fixture will add a touch of elegance to your seating area. ... show more

    • The second one works best!
Even in hot sun during the day the light was powered only for an hour and also the remote does not work. I wrote to customer service they immediately sent me a replacement. I put it in an area where it gets just the morning light but the new solar light stil works whole night. The remote also work from a long distance too. I am very happy with this product now. Thanks to this company now my area looks so beautiful. Wish them all the best for their products and service. ... show more

I may have confused this one with other one but you have to pull the chain every time for the remote to work.
