Bought it so my chickens can see to get in their coop. It is on all day while charging and turns off at night when they need it. I have 2 of these that do the same thing. It's like they are reverse wired. Makes no sense. One is inside the coop, and other is on my patio.

Easy to install and setup. Could be brighter if a clear cover was used instead of the white plastic, this just dims the brightness kind of counter productive. Works good in a 8x10 shed, automatically turns on at night wish it had a motion sensor option. Build quality is so so would be better if it was somewhat weighted being a pendulum style fixture. Purchased for our storage building. Not very bright even using two. It does give enough light to see not to trip over anything but not enough to find something or work on anything. Better than no light at all I suppose. Does have an off/on which is a plus not just dusk to dawn.

Now the function of this is awesome, BUT the light has a sensor so it needs to be past dusk for it to turn on. Now that we have that out of the way, it runs like a dream. I gave this in my off grid bath house and use the 25% illumination setting for 8 hrs and it runs all night, just in case you have to 'go' at 3am. My unit gets about 5-6 hrs of sun. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have a window that gets a lot of sun and was eager to try a solar light indoors. I like this little pendant light a lot! After reading the reviews I learned that the button on the solar panel has to be pushed in to reset it. It took a while to get the hang of how to work the remote and my video shows it working. It’s really quite bright (enough to read by) and it hasn’t even been sunny for the last few days! It has got a super long cord so I can move it anywhere. My peak energy costs are 4-9pm and it’s when I plan to use it the most. Installation is super easy.. I put the panel on my windowsill and hooked the lamp on my bookcase! ... show more

I bought two of these and neither one works properly. They don’t put out much light to begin with, and then they randomly turn on even when you turn them back off repeatedly. Batteries are dead by the time it gets dark. Complete garbage.

Not what expected. Plastic is of lesser light quality, goes on during the day and not at night like it should. Remote doesn’t seem to work at all. I bought these kind of solar outdoor lights from different vendors so I have a frame to compare with. This particular could be of better quality.
