For me this light is great! I will do a pro/con list. Pros: easy install very straight forward and puts off enough light for my 2 stall shed row style horse barn. I don’t have electrical out there so it’s great being able to see! I can feed and clean stalls no problem. Cons: I purchased two lights and after two weeks of use one is no longer working. Could be a bad angle on my solar panel and it has been over cast but I bought the protection plan in case it is actually broken. My other issue is the settings. I just need full power light for about an hour every day. There is not a setting on the light for that option unless you do the motion sensor option and that gets annoying if you are out of zone for it to pick up on movement. You have to be moving directly by it for it to stay on full blast light. The other option is “mode 3” which stays on at night BUT it is at like half brightness. This light does the trick and works for me for now. I would buy again however I don’t know if I will keep this long term because the settings options don’t exactly fit my needs. ... show more

I've got a corner of my porch with both a blackstone griddle and a grill. At night that area is totally dark unless I use a flashlight. I put this light up between the 2 and it's perfect! Lots of light and the separate solar panel allows me to place it out from under the porch roof getting access to sunlight. I use the remote and not motion detection because I want the light to stay on while I'm cooking without having to dance around every few minutes to have the light come back on. Ive been using this light for several months now and it still works great. I was going to run an extension cord permanently but this provides enough light to take care of my needs. Also since i keep my Generator in here, it was nice to have light when we had a power outage in the evening and i had to drag it out of the shed. I have the light set for motion and it comes on as soon as you open the door and stays on as long as there’s movement. I have the timer set for 45 seconds. I’ve only used the remote once, and that was to set it up for the first time, but if it’s on automatic, you really don’t need it . There are definitely other options out there but for the price, its hard to beat. I would buy it again ... show more

The mode settin doesnt work right. I out it in. Based with the panel Outside under an overhang to keep it mostly protected for weather and the light his in the shed with no weather. Every time I walk in it seems to be working in a different mode. I try to reset it and It doesn’t seem to work. I dint recommend this product. ... show more

I needed some light in a small shed in my backyard that had no power. The shed has a large door and small window, but still hard to see in there, especially when walking in from the full sunlight. This is helping out greatly. I wish it was just a little larger/brighter, but it is perfectly acceptable. From the pictures, you can get the feel that this is as big as a ceiling fan. It ain't. This is not a criticism, the dimensions are posted, it was not a surprise, just a game your mind plays because it has that ceiling fan shape. I have the solar panel in the window of the shed. The window does not get much direct sunlight and has a screen in it. This is probably not optimal for fast charging, but we don't use the light all that much, so it all works out. I have not had any charging issues. If this had not worked, the cord is plenty long to get the panel outside. I just figured if it worked for my needs in the window, it is better protected. The install bracket is not super convenient to work with, but the light weighs so little it is not a hardship. Still just a one-person job. The motion sensor and timer work perfectly. Surprisingly well for what I needed. Never had to dance in the dark to get the light to come on. And the lack of Dancin in the Dark has effectively kept Bruce Springsteen and Courtney Cox out of my shed. Mission accomplished. But seriously folks, it works well. ... show more
