This works very well. I have had for a few years now and still come on bright and last long when I’m in my shed. Still like new even after the winters when I haven’t gone in since the fall. Great options to set the lights how you want them to turn on with the remote control. I have them coming on automatically with motion when it is dark outside. I velcroed the remote right by the shed door so if I wanted to I can have the option to keep the light on all the time if I am doing work in there.

I needed some light in a small shed in my backyard that had no power. The shed has a large door and small window, but still hard to see in there, especially when walking in from the full sunlight. This is helping out greatly. I wish it was just a little larger/brighter, but it is perfectly acceptable. From the pictures, you can get the feel that this is as big as a ceiling fan. It ain't. This is not a criticism, the dimensions are posted, it was not a surprise, just a game your mind plays because it has that ceiling fan shape. I have the solar panel in the window of the shed. The window does not get much direct sunlight and has a screen in it. This is probably not optimal for fast charging, but we don't use the light all that much, so it all works out. I have not had any charging issues. If this had not worked, the cord is plenty long to get the panel outside. I just figured if it worked for my needs in the window, it is better protected. The install bracket is not super convenient to work with, but the light weighs so little it is not a hardship. Still just a one-person job. The motion sensor and timer work perfectly. Surprisingly well for what I needed. Never had to dance in the dark to get the light to come on. And the lack of Dancin in the Dark has effectively kept Bruce Springsteen and Courtney Cox out of my shed. Mission accomplished. But seriously folks, it works well.

For me this light is great! I will do a pro/con list. Pros: easy install very straight forward and puts off enough light for my 2 stall shed row style horse barn. I don’t have electrical out there so it’s great being able to see! I can feed and clean stalls no problem. Cons: I purchased two lights and after two weeks of use one is no longer working. Could be a bad angle on my solar panel and it has been over cast but I bought the protection plan in case it is actually broken. My other issue is the settings. I just need full power light for about an hour every day. There is not a setting on the light for that option unless you do the motion sensor option and that gets annoying if you are out of zone for it to pick up on movement. You have to be moving directly by it for it to stay on full blast light. The other option is “mode 3” which stays on at night BUT it is at like half brightness. This light does the trick and works for me for now. I would buy again however I don’t know if I will keep this long term because the settings options don’t exactly fit my needs.

I pulled this out of the box, and I noticed that the box had oil stains and the plastic really looked like it was already pulled out from the factory. Hmmm.. second hand. I trudged forward to give it a try and using a ladder held it up inside my 14 x 14 shed. It did not amaze me in the slightest. Yes, it provided some light but I was not impressed. So I put back into the box the same way I found it and sent it back.. sorry to whomever gets it next.

Somewhat okay, seems to have a good charge on it, but not as bright as I was expecting. I have it in my 10x20 out building and I really need something much brighter in there. But for what it is I guess it's okay and it's holding up well.
