The thread pitch is not specified in the item description. I needed 12x1.0 thread (fine thread) to replace my Shimano axle, but this item had a standard metric thread. Listing description needs to be updated to include thread pitch.

    • Metal clamp not provided. will have to use the existing one.
The product allowed me to do what I neeeded to do. However, the metal clamp that mounts on the axle was not provided. I had to take it from the origional skewer in order to connect the child trailer I was using. I was looking forward to have two seperate bikes set up at all times. Also a had to find a washer to fit the diameter of this skewer axle to take up the space between the frame and skewer bolt. Mounted a chariott trailer to a carbon Trek Domane 4.5. ... show more

After reading too many comments and Q&A sections it seemed like it would work based on product description and answers. Wrong thread pitch for Canyon thru axels. Robert project thru axels has what you need.
