Zildjian 5B Drumsticks remain a favorite size among drummers of all skill levels, whether you're a beginner selecting your first pair of sticks for practice and performance, or a touring veteran needing to re-stock your stick bag. The 5B is a workhorse that delivers a strong sound, and the feel of a little more stick in your hand than a 5A. Its mid-range dimensions include a medium taper and shaft that is well balanced and offers a little extra punch. The DIP® material is a special coating available in many colors, that is applied to the grip area of the stick to provide a comfortable, slightly tacky gripping surface. Zildjian 5B’s are a solid choice designed for any style of music.

The sticks themselves are pretty nice. A little light for my liking but they do the job. Im using them on an electronic kit so they should last long. My complaints are not about the 1 pair zildjian sticks I received. Its that I ordered two pair. First order never even made it to my door. Got a message saying it was lost. So I reorded 2 pair again. This time they came except 1 pair was Vic Firth wood tip. I didnt order them. They just ran out and threw them in there to fill the spot of the sticks I actually ordered. Is this good service? Yes and NO. I appreciate the effort to please but its not what i wanted. Rather then send them back they will just be extras I guess. Love the feel of these sticks! Awesome balance and rebound stiffness. I have a 4 star for “easy to hold” only because it seems I drop them more often than usual but maybe because they have a quicker rebound time than what I’m used to. Love the balance and “feel” of these. I use them for an electronic Roland kit in mesh heads most of the time (practicing) so this review is based on mesh head use. ... show more
