This hose is very soft and flexible. I twisted loops into it and pulled it across the yard to test for kinks and was surprised that such a flexible hose did not kink easily at all. The aluminum fittings have a grey anodized finish that matches the color of the hose - making this a nice-looking hose that will blend in to many landscapes. The fittings are large enough to easily tighten and loosen by hand. Swivel fittings at each end help to minimize loops and kinks. There were no leaks from the connections during my testing and review. Two extra washers are provided, buy you will probably not need them. The included sprayer is of all plastic construction. It has 8 spray patterns including gentle settings for watering and misting and a jet setting good for cleaning off walkways. This is a 1/2” diameter hose that will not deliver as much water as a larger 5/8” hose, but it is perfectly capable for most around-the-house jobs. This is a very good hose for light and medium duty applications.

Aside from the incredibly heavy-duty construction of the hose itself, it's the metal fittings that I like most. I've had so many different types of hoses over the years that I've become pretty particular about the types of hoses that I'll use. The metal fittings on this hose couldn't be better, as the integrated swivel mechanism allows the hose itself to untwist as you use it (as the coil of hose gets stretched out into the yard as you walk), despite being tightened well at spout, which was a welcomed surprise. Further, when hand-tightening the hose ends to the spout- and/or nozzle-end device connections, you can do so with confidence and force, as the size and grip of the metal fittings is both substantial and confident in hand. Thus far, I highly recommend this hose but if over time, it fails or becomes problematic for some reason, I will update this review accordingly. Until then, enjoy!

I ordered this garden hose as mine was just worn out with holes, kinks and too many repairs. I was quite surprised on this new hose that on both ends it swivels to keep the hose from kinking, even when the water is on and pressure on the hose. It came with a multi position sprayer head as well. I’ve only had it a few days and only time will tell if it will hold up to the UV rays. Maybe in about a year or so I should tell. I would order another garden hose from this company for sure

I had ordered the FitLife Flexible Garden Hose 50’ version, and had not received it before I saw that the 100’ was now available, so I ordered the 100’ version before I had received the 50’ one. I should have waited but jumped the gun thinking it would be nice to have matching hoses. But after receiving the 50’ one, and testing it out, and had I know the Pros and Cons, I might have thought twice before ordering this one. This is my review of the 50’ FitLife Flexible Garden Hose: I ordered the The FitLife Flexible Garden Hose to replace the garden hoses that I only use for my drip irrigation, soaker hoses, watering potted plants and spot watering my manicured lawn. I ordered it on March 3, 2024 and it arrived via USPS on March 5, 2024 - shipping was unusually quick, was packed in a heavy duty cardboard box so arrived intact and undamaged, unboxed it right after lunch, hooked it up and performed a comparison test against my ten year old 100% heavy duty industrial grade rubber hose. The FitLife Flexible Garden Hose 50FT - Heavy Duty Water Hose 50 ft with Metal Fittings and Nozzle Sprayer, High Pressure, Easy Storage, Leak Proof, Outdoor Hose for Reel Cart, Sprinkler As advertised it is slimmer and lighter, at least it is lighter then the hoses I currently use, which is a 100% Heavy Duty Industrial Grade Rubber Hose, which is very heavy when trying to carry a couple coils of the hose full of water back to the wall hanger. The manufacture conveniently left out the issue of garden hose kinking, and this garden hose DOES KINK, A LOT. BUT the manufacture also stated “outdoor hose for reel cart” which I believe would be easier to roll back up by simply cranking the handle vs my fighting with trying to untangle the kinks while trying to roll the hose back onto the wall hanger. I lack storage space for a large reel cart, did have them before, O Rings leaked, finally gave them away mainly because they took up too much space. I did a comparison on volume of water displacement because I prefer the higher volume of the 5/8” heavy duty rubber hose, attached to our water spigot that is hooked up BEFORE the regulator, so water pressure far exceeds the max water pressure after the regulator. I was able to fill up a five gallon bucket in thirty one (31) seconds when using the 5/8” heavy duty rubber hose, vs fifty nine (59) seconds using the FitLife Flexible Garden Hose. I should note that I rarely have the spigot open 100% and only use that spigot when washing our cars, so the volume displacement is not a big issue. HOWEVER our home is next to the forest so there is always a concern for wild fires (just had a major wild fire in the forest less then a mile away from our home six months ago). It took the fire department almost one month to fully extinguish that wild fire, we were just lucky that the winds blew the fire in the opposite direction. Thus my having the plumber install a water spigot before the regulator - because that is the spigot I would hook up to a sprinkler system on our roof to protect against fire embers. I would then hook the spigot on the opposite side of our house to a 3500 psi pressure washer, hooked up to a twenty foot pressure washer gun to shoot down the ground vegetation in the forest near our house. So I would also use the 5/8” heavy duty rubber hose for that purpose because it displaces a larger volume of water. But for every day watering chores such as my drip irrigation system for our raised garden bed or watering our potted plants or spot watering our manicured lawn, the FitLife Flexible Garden Hose is more the adequate and capable. I also tested the FitLife hose for abrasion resistance, dragged it around on our concrete driveway, which is where I wash our cars. There was visible wear and tear on the reinforced outer layer, was way more then just scuff marks, could see that the outer layer had wore down from being dragged on the concrete (our driveway is intentionally very rough because it rains a lot, so is anti slip surface). I can’t speak to puncture resistance but will say that the FitLife hose is very soft as compared to the 100% heavy duty industrial grade rubber hose I own. I do love the 360* aluminum alloy swivel fittings. Anyone that has ever left a multifunction sprayer attached to a garden hose that has non brass 3/4” fittings has discovered that the sprayer has corroded onto the hose fitting and now has to be sawed off, usually damaging the hose fitting. So the aluminum alloy swivel fittings are nice but I would still use a LOT of teflon tape or anti-seize compound to address dissimilar metal galvanic corrosion. The rubber hoses I own have brass 360* swivel fittings, so I mostly use all brass garden hose nozzles, or I use a ton of teflon tape, and I have brass quick disconnects on all my garden hoses. The suggested MSRP is a little on the high side (my opinion) when you can readily purchase a 5/8” one hundred foot medium duty hose from The BIG BOX STORE for less then thirty dollars. But I do prefer black garden hoses, so for me I would spend more for a black garden hose if color was the only difference between choice of garden hoses.

This 50' hose is very lightweight. At 1/2" it is on the smaller size but gets the job done. The aluminum alloy taps are very nice and easy to use. Such a great size allow an easy connection to your water spigot and hand sprayer. They also included extra washers which always make the difference in sealing the connection. The hose looped very nice around my existing hose hanger and sits nicely. The included sprayer seemed on the cheaper side but these tend to break anyways so it is good to have a spare on hand. Overall a nice 1/2" hose for any small job in the yard!

This is a really well-constructed shorter length 25' hose. It is a quality item that has really good fittings including a metal collar at each end which really should extend the life of this hose. The metal fittings at each end is distinctive and in my opinion an improvement over the usual pliable plastic collars. I like the shorter length for use in and around the house and will meet my needs nicely. Hand sprayer and extra set of washers is a nice bonus. Good product and recommend.

First off, this hose is constructed very well. I have no issues with the construction. What I did not expect was due to the diameter of the outlet, water does not just run out like a normal garden hose. It sprays. The good news is that if you attach the "Multi-Function Sprayer", you can throttle the flow back or you can throttle at the water supply valve. The thing is, you do not get as much flow by doing this. I guess that is something I'll have to get used to.
