this came in handy for having surgery kept arm very secure and was easy to use and comfortable compared to regular slings i chose not to cut the straps like the directions said

This sling is very effective at cradling your arm. Good design. The velcro is still holding well after month, though its stickiness is starting to fade. I'm a fairly big guy with long arms. The arm sling is just barely long enough for my forearm, but the straps reach where they need to reach. The straps would be more comfortable if they were wider. The shoulder pad could be thicker, too. If you gotta wear one, this is pretty good.

Great sling. I broke my clavicle and the sling the ER provided was just about useless. This sling holds my arm close to my body, but not too tight. I can sleep in it and even traveled (by car as a passenger, family emergency) 500 miles from home the first week after fracture, just using a pillow for extra support and some muscle relaxants - and everything went fine. Fracture is healing well --- no surgery required - and I give part of the good result to this sling. Just make sure you get the correct size. I have ordered a second one - just to give the first some breathing/airing room since it will be my companion for the next month.

Bought for my husband post bicep tendon surgery with the hope that it would help hold his arm in place better. He wore it for about 5 minutes and said that it was not working for him and made it hurt worse. The strap cushion could have been a little wider to accommodate the velcro. Fit seemed good though. I see how it could be nice, but not for us.

I broke my shoulder bone. My shoulder came out of socket. Also the Hospital give me a cheap no good sling. I ordered this one off of Amazon. It is the best thing ever and it came just when I needed it. It has lots of support for my arm and my shoulder Fast ship are very good.
