Easy to use and pretty self explanatory. Smokeless as advertised so no need to open a window or anything! There are a lot of parts to clean when you've done and you'll want to remove the water thing on the bottom separately rather than try to carry the whole thing to the kitchen (learned that the hard way) but pretty much everything comes apart which helps a lot! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I totally recommend buying Easy to assemble, there is very little smell and smoke, but it is definitely different than usual. It was nice to receive something I really liked because I ate meat that didn't burn in the temperature control. Got this for Fathers Day/B-day for my husband who has been wanting one. He loves it and it hasn't been used as much as we would like, but 4 times so far. Just realized this last time while cleaning it that it was missing 2 of the rubber stoppers in the feet to keep it from sliding. Not sure if they were missing when we got it (put it on a surface where we wouldn't have noticed before). If they did in fact come out after using it they are long gone since we have cats :( Moved the taming stoppers which helped a bit and will be glueing them in. Still slips, but not as bad and would definitely be better with all 4! ... show more

Like many, I bought this because I live in a very cold environment, and wanted a way to grill in the winter without having to stomp around in deep snow outside. This item generally performs adequately. To clean, I wipe off whatever grease I can with a paper towel, and then I put the lid, grill grate, drip guard pan, and bottom water pan all in the dishwasher. And not much else in the dishwasher. I do NOT use my dishwasher's heated dry cycle, because I think that may warp the plastic in the water pan. The problems with this grill are: 1) The chemical fumes that it gave off the first hour of running on high was truly caustic and eye-watering. Must be massively unhealthy. In hindsight, I would have definitely run it outside the first hour, even if it is -10 degrees outside or whatever. The fumes gradually go away after using for several hours. 2) It DOES produce significant smoke if you run it on full high, which is the only way I grill (mostly beef). But it is still definitely less than the smoke generated by say grilling hamburgers on an uncovered stove top iron griddle. So it is worth having. But it should be called "Less-Smoke" rather than "Smokeless." It's like maybe 1/3 the normal smoke. 3) There is a bribe in the box for a review. The language is careful not to directly ask for a good review (it only shows a pic with 5 stars on it), but that's what it is (requires you to email them, so they can check your review, for a free item.). When you read all the glowing reviews on here, keep that in mind. ... show more
