  • Nice thick tiles, easy to install
These vinyl tiles are quite a bit thicker than i expected, a nice surprise! They are in between a muted pale blue and gray shade, depending on the light you look at them in, for the most part with a few bright accents. Very attractive, easy to install if you read the enclosed literature or have experience. I have never used tiles like these before, only the sticky backed tiles, so i also watched a few videos. I did have some trouble cutting them, but that's on me for not having a sharp enough blade. Otherwise, it was an easy process, do be aware that the edges of these tiles are sharp enough that you might want to wear gloves when handling them. They seem pretty durable and not easily damaged with normal use. I will update if i have any future problems as i have only had them down for a few days. Being that i put them at my back door entry, they've already seen some feet traffic and have been easily cleaned by thoroughly sweeping with soft bristled broom, then a few quick swipes with a mop barely dampened in a mild soap and water solution. No scratches are visible in spite of the fact that we've all been in winter boots here. I'm very pleased with these tiles and how easy they were to install and i would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Damage easily, not worth the time Damage easily, not worth the time
These luxury vinyl flooring feels heavy-duty. Pattern looks good. It does have streaks that look dirty but it’s current being installed in my pet’s room so it’s not that noticeable. What I don’t like is the drop-and-lock end joints are way too brittle. It feels like it’s made out of clay. A majority of them are damaged on the first box. The replacement is slightly better but still have some that are damaged. Not sure if flooring will hold up for long. ... show more

  • Pricey but attractive, easy to install and well packed.
I've put together probably over 1000 square feet of vinyl flooring for myself and friends, so I'm familiar with a lot of different brands and styles. I'm pleased with the quality and look of these boards, although I feel the cost is a little too high. They do seem on the high end of quality, and so far they've proven very durable. The print of the film and the texture are nice. I'm not sure where this pattern would fit in a home, I have it in the garage. Note that these tiles have no stickiness, these are a "floating" floor with built-in underlayment that lock together. They are very easy to clean. One thing I will note, these go together a little different than most brands I have used. Rather than just sliding into place, these must be tapped down with a mallet to "lock" them. Installation wasn't really any trickier than other brands, but these do have a tendency to leave visible seams if you're not extremely careful with alignment. Thankfully I didn't have any issue disassembling and reassembling them. I was very pleased that all of the tiles in the box were usable. While a small number had chipped locking grooves, none of the planks' upper surfaces were damaged. Usually there are one or two planks in a box of vinyl flooring that have a chipped corner or edge, but these were well packed and handled and arrived intact. ... show more

  • It has streaks that look dirty
I loved the sample that the company sent. But when we started installing it, we were aware of tiles that looked like they had streaks of dirt across them! We tried to hide those under appliances in the kitchen!!

  • Very impressive tiles with a more elegant appearance than expected!
When I ordered these Allure 12" x 24" x 6.5mm, 12mil Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring, Ultima Comfit Terrazzo Look - I wasn't sure if they'd look more domestic or industrial, but I was pleasantly surprised at how elegant they look once installed! Very impressive quality - these are more sturdy tiles than you usually get in this type product. Easy to install and have had excellent luck so far with them in a high traffic area. They clean up nicely and also cover dirt well with the pattern if you miss a day or two with the vacuum. Definitely recommend and will be ordering more to expand coverage. Blends nicely with other flooring and has enough color in the design to blend with most household color schemes. Excellent find right here! Will buy again! ... show more

  • FAIL! Ugly, dirty looking and will always be dirty from the texture! FAIL! Ugly, dirty looking and will always be dirty from the texture!
This "luxury" vinyl is anything but lux looking! Half of them have awful dirty looking streaks across them. All of them have small pit-like holes in them, see video. These are going to be little dirt magnets! The area I had planned to lay these in doesn't have any place to hide these such as under cabinets or appliances, as another reviewer did, so I won't be able to use them. These were going to be placed in a prominent, high traffic area so they would constantly need to be cleaned. Ain't nobody got time for that! I will be searching for a different flooring now as this was a total fail. I cannot recommend these! ... show more

  • A refreshing design perfect for MCM or contemporary settings
It's funny, I was looking at this product online before it popped up on Amazon, and ordered samples a few weeks prior to it appearing in my feed. I have installed a bunch of LVP and LVT as a general contractor, and it seems like all the products look the same, but not this flooring from Allure! I am in the process of redoing my kitchen, and I love the look of terrazzo, but I wanted something that can handle wear and tear in the kitchen, or from my pets. This product seemed to check all the boxes... As a product, it has everything I am looking for, it is thick, has a generous wear layer, and underlayment backing. It is easy to install and click together. The only thing I don't like is that the repeat on this product is fairly obvious. Even though the pattern is terrazzo, you will notice that the same shapes appear on multiple pieces. From the perspective of an installer, I had to pre-select my pieces before I laid them down for a more natural or authentic look. Is it a dealbreaker? No, but something to be aware of if you want the best possible appearance. I will note that whoever packaged this at Amazon was not careful and threw the package in a significantly larger box without any padding. My flooring arrived slightly damaged; I had a few pieces with bent corners that were unusable in the field. I was able to use the broken pieces for cuts and corners, without too much waste, but I was disappointed. I only received one carton, so I am hoping that if you order a larger amount, it would arrive in a pallet or with better packaging. Honestly, I would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of flooring that looks like wood or marble and wants something with more style. It is affordable and just as nice as the products I order from large companies like Mohawk. ... show more

  • Matte finish, rubber backed waterproof, HEAVY
High quality flooring overall that was not very well protected in the packaging. I don't know if foam or something might help along the male joint side. Had some minor male edge breakage and some corner damage. The flooring is very heavy so the box landing on its side or edge can pose some issues. That's said its attractive and playful with the splotches of color. The surface has a stone feel to it also which is pretty cool. For the most part it is easy to clean but does grab a bit under my bona mop head if not sufficiently wet. The short edge can be hard to seat on installation due to the backing and friction ( this is common issue for rubber backed flooring) - an installation block and rubber mallet is absolutely necessary! Some baby powder sprinkled underneath and in the end joints helped me ( although not in instructions, lol) The light color is forgiving in sandy areas like ours in Florida , not sure how muddy areas might do with the antislip matte surface and light color though - not something I'd want to deal with personally. Could look very nice in bathroom or child's room. I found the pattern to be a bit repetitive I'm the single box - I laid out the entire box and grouped the pieces so that I could find a satisfactory way to mix them up with out having peices with the same exact pattern too close or right next to one another. I am used these in a small entrance area / laundry that was previously unfinished. I am not sure if I would do an entire large room with it - it has a slightly institutional feel to it in my opinion. I do like the Allure flooring overall though. I have another type from the company that is a wider format wood plank that I like very much and plan to use in a larger room. This one looked interesting and I really liked the thought of stone looking flooring. It is fine in my laundry, I just feel it reminds me of school or something and I can't get over that so I don't think I'd order more or do a larger space with it. I'm sure someone could make this work and I'd be jealous of it though! ... show more
