It is pretty good overall. Vegetables Cook pretty good on it. I recommend turning it on and waiting 10 minutes before you start cooking. If you’re cooking meat that’s on the thicker side , it will release a lot of juice which will take longer to cook it. Would probably work better with thinner meat.

Definitely love the reversible plate, makes it easy to cook different types of foods without needing the extra equipment. I washed it all before use but there was still a funky smell, think it was just so new it’ll take a couple times use before that’ll go away. The temperature control is super easy to use and adjustable to do slow cooking or fast grilling. Lastly and most importantly is the size. You cannot expect to find something much bigger you might as get an actual grill. But I did a ton of research and I’m glad this is what I decided on. Size looks small but you can actually cook a lot more on it than you might think, I was quite surprised. I like to meal prep and having this made it so much easier, quicker, and a lot of cooking done for my week. ... show more

On a recent trip to Zurich Switzerland, I was introduced to the Raclette dinner. I fell in love with it and decided I wanted to have my own Raclette machine. I bought this Techwood and it is absolutely wonderful. It's so easy to use and so easy to clean. I also love the reversable grill. My family and friends love to sit around with a glass of wine, chat, and eat the cheese and other items we cook with my Reclette Techwood. This grill lacks in many areas when I think of hosting guest I think of having something that doesn’t require me to turn on my stove looks good as I entertain easy to clean up and has multiple uses. The grill top is smaller than I thought and is not deep enough to hold juices from meat. On the other side the griddle style plates are not deep enough to refrain from food running together. I thought the mini trays would be cute for guest to serve themselves but the food won’t stay warm in them also too small to portion food for each person to just take one so if you have more than 3-4 guests what’s the point of these tiny plates. Not thoroughly thought out as far as design and not modern enough to sit out when guest are over if I used it again it probably would only be for breakfast for me and my spouse. And he could care less what it looks like. Don’t feel like it’s worth the money and I was able to get it on sale. ... show more
