The media could not be loaded. *Charcoal size 40x63* Not total black out But keeps a lot of light out and definitely keeps the cold at bay. These are very nice curtains for the price! I have multiple sets just like them throughout my upstairs bedrooms. Fabric is soft to the touch and feel high quality. If you are seeking total blackout, go with a darker color. I wanted them moore for insulation then darkness. But I think they are perfect for both!

Ok so first off, I got these for my hobby/work room to replace horizontal blinds that totally fell apart in the harsh sun after many years of use. I didn't want to go back to new blinds because frankly they're a pain in the a in so many ways. So I settled on these curtains because they're very affordable and they give me the basic privacy I need in that room's window. For a rod I simply used a chromed 1" x 60" shower curtain rod donated by my workplace, works great. Now the picky details. I settled on the 72" length because the longer 80" one would have dragged the floor. So it's a few inches short of the floor but who cares. The material is a lightweight fabric reminiscent of cheaper bed sheets, got that same somewhat fuzzy feeling but "fine thread count" quality to it. They're reminiscent of that sort of gauzy look like beach home curtains in tv shows always seem to push. I'm sure the natural color ones would really nail that look if you wanted it. Also, these gray ones are again fine for the application. Looks good when up, and does admit a little light but only just a little. It's gloomy sort of low light in there even when the sun is hitting them in full. Again, pretty perfect for the situation. Now something that might genuinely be a problem for you: Refer to my pictures and you'll see that the thermal ones show you right away that you might really not want these depending on your situation. The blinds in the other room are getting hit with full on sun and only registering almost 103F. Meanwhile the hottest parts of these curtains are blowing smoke hard at 113F. It's physics, bro, no way around it. The material is trying to be low budget blackout, and that means all the sun's energy has to go somewhere. It's absorbed, NOT reflected. And that means it re-radiates as heat. And that means it's pretty much radiating into the room. Typical cheap blinds would reflect a lot of that back outside, and that's why you see the blinds in the other room showing a full ten degrees F less heating. I only mention this because it's something you may not think of, just as I didn't, and might have a problem with, just as I now do since I also grow plants in there. Going to have to open up the AC vent in there to keep the room heat down, I expect. It's ok... At least for now. But I may in future have to consider going with white instead. I'll see when I see. But, it got the job done, I like the look, and it was easy enough to set up, and wasn't expensive for me. Works. So if you want lightweight curtains to tackle a quick window privacy job without blinds and some pretty good light reduction, I can't see why you wouldn't consider these. Just keep room heating in mind and maybe go with white "blackout" just to help mitigate that potential problem. NR417

I love the size. Perfect for my windows. I wish I had ordered these with loops at the top instead of just pulling it closed. But that was my fault. Color matches perfect for where I use them. Keeps the room feeling cozy with blacking out the light. I sleep much better.
