this drive makes windows boot up fly. running benchmarks drive peaked at 73C and after a break in period, drive would only peak out at 68C. for longevity it's been said these drives shouldn't run past 60C or you risk shortening its life. i added a heatsink EL-2280C and pushing the benchmarks for extended duration, the drive doesn't run past 58C. if you're spending the money, please put a heat sink on these. the factory cooling solution is better than the ceramic version but this deserves an upgrade to keep it from thermal throttling with the excessive heat. with heatsink and at idle, it's at 43C ... show more

So this is my second highend NVMe. I wanted to give another brand a try other than Samsung. A few complaints: Ceramic is only on one side. Only half the IC’s have this surface. I do not get advertised speeds of 4GB/sec. There are a number of factors here. One being there is no “optimized” controller driver like Intel’s or Samsungs. I have an older z97 which likely also the reason as not all pcie slots are 3.0. I top out at 3,200MB/sec. Team Group’s own benchmarks rate it horrible but other third party tools say its better than my Intel 660p. Otherwise its a Solid performer in real-world use. This SSD/heatsink combination works fabulously with a PlayStation 5 console. I used the larger aluminum heatsink and the SSD/heatsink combination just fit inside the designated expansion slot inside the PS5. I was able to put the top back on the expansion slot area after installing and secure it with the screw with no issues. Please see my screenshots for the screens I encountered in the installation process. I installed the 2 TB Admirable model. Right after installing, I moved all of my PS5 games to this new SSD. I didn't install my PS4 games there because I have them installed on another 2 TB external drive attached to one of the USBs on the outside of the console. It's been a couple weeks since I installed the SSD and moved the games and I haven't had any issues with it or with the combination of ways that I have things installed. As you can see from my screenshot, the Sequential Read Speed I got upon installation is 6556.838 MB/s, which is higher than Sony's recommended 5,500 MB/s. I highly recommend this SSD for your PS5. This is about the lowest price for a 2 TB internal SSD of this speed and configuration that is compatible with the PS5 that I have seen so far. ... show more

Bought for PS5 and it doesn’t work. I’ve tried with both heat sinks, and powered system on and off multiple times to no avail. Will be returning this and buying something that actually works as advertised.

I mainly bought it for my ps5. It fits snug with the heatsink and the silver cap on from the ps5. Best value for your money, especially 2tb!! Very good deal compared to other expensive ssd’s. I Will update if it burns out quick or sumthen. But so far its been running my ps5 games without a problem
