I've been running with an original Playstation 4, streaming on Twitch and i've had people ask me if i'm running with a Playstation 5? My answer is no. For most people that buy a console... They don't really understand the mechanics of the console that they spent so much money on. I've been through three hard drives and by far this is the best i've found, 95% of my Playstation errors have vanished. As for your processor(CPU)? The best thing you can do for it Is buy a small desktop fan for your Playstation. This will keep the heat away from the surroundings of the console. The cooler the processor (CPU) is the better the performance. Another is cleaning the dust from your internal fan every six months. So if you are looking for a good hard drive for your PS4 OR PS5. I'm very pleased with the speed of TeamG SSDs. They are always value for the money. Hands down! I hope they continue their trend of low prices. I formatted the SSD to EXT4. All brothers and sisters of Linux know why I did that. Debian 11, Fedora, and AL all installed with no problems. I'm using windows 11 pro also. I don't know why TG doesn't mention that in their description, or do they? Yes, this SSD works with windows 11 pro. Though, I would make sure to format it in NTSF, which is windows native format. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks, TeamG. Read and Write speed is very good, and speedier than what TeamG advertises. Another plus for us customers.

As with most thing in life, and life in general, they will ultimately slow down and something will fail. I took a chance on this one to upgrade my regular drive on an old Dell PC moving from 3.5 to 2.5 Hard drive. It has been running slow and I guess with aging, or wink, they are already aware of the life expectancy for you to upgrade these Hard drives, like a new operating system, of mobile telephone coming out, and for some reason, the old version gets slower. Nevertheless, it made a huge difference in loading time. I haven't added too may programs on to the older PC, to see how it hold up, but judging from the past few weeks, this one is running fine. Therefore, I ordered two more now that they are a little cheaper. I'll update if anything changes.

Couldn't believe the price and had to try it. NICE and cant go wrong. Note: I was going to send it back as my PC didn't see it. DUH you have to go into disk management and initialize the device. Did that and it works fine. (I was always used to getting pre-formatted drives so this fooled me). Anyway The process takes about 5 minutes but is worth it. They walk you through the process if needed. I am using it for storage so I am not doing speed tests for R/W processes.

This absolutely saved my pc. While the SSD did save me, my PC illiteracy had to youtube how to properly install a new drive to it. Took me a bit to realize you had to install/format the driver somewhere in the settings of my pc and finally got it working. With 2 SSD drives (1 of them is those nvme SSD's my brother in law installed that was getting full), my pc can now load faster. Not to mention adding my games on there made life beyond amazing with the response time on them loading in versus my hard drive (that conveniently failed during upgrading my pc to better specs). So, to my fellow not too tech savvy people, make sure you look at a proper installation tutorial on YouTube how to install new SSDs and formating it. For the tech people, you can't pass this SSD up when it's affordable pricing.

This was a great deal at just over $36. The drive is fast, cloned easily using my external drive adapter and installed without a hitch. I installed it in an old laptop and the responsiveness is night and day. The laptop boots up in under 20 seconds now compared to the old HDD taking almost 5 minutes to be responsive enough to use. I have Team Group storage in all my PCs/laptops now and have had no issues whatsoever and SMART has shown no degradation over time in over a years worth of heavy use. Great product at a great price.

I have never used Team Group but so far they work as good as any other names brand out, except Samsung which is the Pinnacle of Memory. I really can't tell any speed increase or decrease between SLC and TLC. Since this was less than $40 for a SLC, I pulled the trigger and got one, to replace my Wife's Tired old 1TB HDD drive. So Far So Good.

A massive upgrade over HDD's, while also being very affordable. A great choice for someone who needs more storage for games, videos, or music. You could make it you primary drive, but it does not have any dram so it geared to storage than OS. For the price, this drive is a easy recommendation for budget or newer pc gamers that want to increase their storage without breaking the bank.
