I use this to load medicine into 'delayed release' capsules. I have really bad GERD from taking diabetes medication. I read a research study where GERD was reduced by enteric coating the medication so that it skips your stomach and opens in the intestines. Sadly, there is no official enteric version of that medicine. I talked to my doctor about the study, and he agreed that it would be ok to try crushing the medicine and putting it into delay release capsules to mimic what they used in the study. Using this tool I was able to put the crushed powder into capsules, and they actually worked for me. Of course, talk to your doctor before copying this. As for the tool... it works, but it is really tedious to use. It's hard to guide the powder in without spilling over the sides. I wish there was something more funnel-like in design.

I just received this today. I'm so happy. I have to give my cat medicine for his heart condition. These tools are excellent for filling up the capsules I bought for his medicine. They have different sizes and i put his meds in a size 3 capsule. The tool made it so so easy to fill up the capsules. And it comes with a case to hold all the tools. I love it. I will get alot of uses out of this. Worth every penny.
