Hot water- when it works. The specs are good but it does not live up to expected performance. I bought this heater for a hunting trip. Upon arrival, (a week later than expected) I noticed a small dent in the metal cabinet and a rattle inside. Pre-trip testing seemed ok and I did not have time to return prior to my departure. When I set it up in camp, it heated for a few minutes and then failed. I was able to disassemble the cabinet and identify loose wire connections on the igniter, but the temp adjustments are NOT intuitive and there are essentially no instructions. The adjustment knobs on the unit are not quality and one has failed. I do not recommend.

Do recommend. It does its job. It can get real hot. I have ours set at the lowest setting because of it. Installation was quick and easy. Great value for your buck. Glad I made this purchase. Planning to purchase another for my other outdoor shower.

The media could not be loaded. Update: we’ve been using this during the record breaking 2026 snow/ice storm we’re having in Texas and we’re in some of the worst of it. We’ve been hooking it up to give the horses warm drinking water. The low last night was 8 degrees not including wind chill and even with as cold as the ground water is the output is still over 100 degrees! So impressed with this unit and it sure beats spending over $700 on the Schneider’s equivalent! Bought this to have warm water to wash the horses through winter. We live in North Texas so it doesn’t get terribly cold. So far lows are 40s and highs are 70 but the ground water has been cold and this warms it perfectly on the lowest setting. I actually had to play with settings because it got too hot! It starts out with good pressure but it does taper off a little when you’re spraying continuously. I think part of that has to do with me using a flex hose so I’m going to play with that a bit but even if that doesn’t fix it was still sufficient for a full bath. The directions are pointless so you do need a little bit of a working knowledge on plumbing and some plumbers tape but it’s simple.

Over all works decent. Adjustments to temprature are needed multiple times for the first few minutes of use. Temperature will slowly rise until unit is totally warmed up. If your water supply is from a garden hose you will need a garden hose male to female conversion fitting to hook it up to the water supply on the heater. Great value for the price.

Unbelievable how well this works. I use it for an overlanding shower tent and hang it from the roof rack. Instant heat, amazing product. I did install an Anderson powerpole switch to power on and off the pump which helps not place strain on the pump when you turn the water off on the shower head. Very high quality and solid technology. On lowest settings I’m getting a perfect 102-104 degree hot shower on cool nights. Do not hesitate to buy this. Probably one of the best overlanding purchases to date, right up there with the roof top tent. Hot water in the middle of nowhere, priceless.

I’ve had this for about 6 months and it’s been… an experience. If it turns on, you get two exciting temperature options: 87° (lukewarm disappointment) or 140° (boil-yourself-like-a-lobster). There is apparently no temperature in between. The knobs appear to exist purely for emotional support, because they don’t seem to control much of anything. Turning the unit off is also more of a negotiation than an actual function. Assembly was its own adventure. The manual is barely helpful, so putting it together feels more like a guessing game with plumbing than following instructions. Once you do get it working, the water pressure could definitely be better. All in all, if zero stars were an option, I’d strongly consider it.

Set up was simple. Super super hot water. I got this as a temporary solution as we are in a dispute with the gas company and have no hot water at the moment. It is set up in a bathroom with the window cracked and a carbon monoxide detector right next to the unit just in case and the detector has never gone off. I can fill up my 2 person soaking tub with ease and not even put a dent in a 20 lb propane tank. Needs no electricity to run and also has amazing water pressure. My only real complaint is the hoses are cheap, might want to swap them out for something better and the shower head holder that came with it doesn't hold the shower head. Maybe it is for another model.
