    • Unit received was not like the picture at all!!
The safety shutoff mechanism shown in the picture was an older style that worked well without the fussy problems of the new style control. I was excited to see that older and less troublesome safety shutoff device so I bought it right away based on the photo shown. I was immediately disappointed when I opened the box to find it had the new problematic safety shutoff. Really want to return it. ... show more

    • Disappointing for Mr. Heater brand. Lots of problems.
Thermocouple cracked and failed in 2 months. Replaced with single part purchased from Amazon. Tilt switch is intermittent. I jumpered it out. No gas flows on plunger depression most times. Have to remove heater from tank and shake it to loosen internal slide valve. Solvent cleaning did not help. Should have bought extended warranty and replaced the whole unit. Next time I will buy a tank heater without tilt switch. Oh yes, when it finally does light the heat is excellent. ... show more

    • Great for power outage
Good for a heat source and to put near plumbing to avoid freezeup during power outage which we need to prepare for in winter. Needs extra propane bottles and extra heaters for large or multiple buildings. Very efficient product.

    • Not as warm as you think
Have this heater in my container shop at work and having only solar and battery power I can’t use a electric heater. Goes through fuel pretty quickly but does warm the shop a little. Better than nothing.
