Description

Accelera Phi The Accelera Phi is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. It comes with a 30,000 mile treadwear warranty. The tire promotes superb controllability with the maintained road contact and the special rib design. The shoulder tread block sequence increases the cornering ability and power, while its variable pitch design lowers the road noise generated during the drive. The compound and tread design ensure excellent summer weather traction and the five circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning situations. The Phi’s lightweight construction and dynamic lateral grooves decrease the rolling resistance and offer a fuel efficient drive. Features Summer Tire – The tire compound and the dual zone asymmetric tread design ensure an exceptional dry and wet weather road gripping ability. Hydroplaning – The five circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning and increase the wet weather traction and braking by dispersing water. Fuel Efficient – The lightweight compound and the dynamic medium lateral grooves decrease the rolling resistance and with it the fuel consumption. Handling – The driving stability is guaranteed with the straight center rib, while the steering responsiveness is boosted with the stiff tread ribs. Quiet Tire – The variable pitch design of the tire’s shoulders decreases the road noise heard in the cabin while the tires are in motion. Cornering Ability – Additional biting edges are guaranteed during cornering and maneuvering with the tread design’s shoulder tread block sequence.

  • Great tire for a decent price
Size: 255/40R18
No complaints here with these tires. Price is less than Kumho Ecsta yet the load index and tire grade match the Kumho. The Accelera are rated Y versus the Kumho which are rated W. I read some reviews that state the tires are loud, but I found them to be quiet. Try Federals tires and you will know what loud is, that is not to say Federal tires are bad just loud. The Accelera seem to stick on the road and I don't really push them, but when I do I mean it I expect the tires to hold up which these has done. Can't say what they are like in the rain because I don't drive my sport car in the rain unless I get stuck in it. A good overall tire for a decent price that won't break you, but replacing all 4 won't be that cheap either if you have stagger wheels. In the end it comes down to a good performance tire for a good performance price which these are a winner in my opinion. ... show more

  • Good product
Size: 225/45ZR1
It is a good tire for normal driving and has good amount of tread wear. Noise level is acceptable, definitely quieter than my old worn out tires. No rain yet in CA, so no comment but the grooves are deep, so I think it can channel water. Not suppose to go fast in the rain anyway. It is not a performance tire than u can go high speed cornering with or expecting decrease in brake distance. Tread wear is 420 and the rubber is not the soft racing one. U pay for what u got, it is great for normal driving. I paid $120 for it but the name brand tire for that size, cheapest one is at $160. Even in Costco, it is $165 the cheapest. ... show more

  • Worst tire I’ve had
Size: 215/35R19
I go through multiple tires due to extreme camber and stretch I usually get the cheapest brands because I only get 3k miles per set But i decided to try these out and they only lasted 200 miles, car was shaking like crazy Steering Wheel was shaking. It was horrible I thought I had something going on with my drivetrain but after I decided to swap out for ANOTHER brand new set of cheap $70 tires everything went bad to normal Perfect now….. these tires were defective Even the tire shop said these were horrible tires Waste of $200 plus my time ... show more
