I'm back with my second purchase since I misplaced the one I bought in August; naturally the price I paid had doubled since then. (I suspect my cat; she loves to sleep on it for some obscure reason.) While I still find it very comfortable with just the right amount of light support for my arthritic, old lady back, the back pad and bands seem a bit narrower than the one I bought last summer. Is it my memory or are they cutting corners? Ironically, the heavy duty back brace with a pelvic plate and pulley strings that a medical device company foisted on me at the doctor's made my pain a lot worse. As long as Futuro continues to make this simple brace and doesn't mess with the design too much, I'll continue to purchase from them. This little brace really works for me. ... show more

I have chronic lower back and hip pain due to a shorter right leg, and this support belt has really helped me. The stabilizing bars on either side of the spine give great support. I use it mostly when I have to do yard work and twist and turn the lawn mower. The support helps to keep me from throwing my back and hips out, necessitating a visit to the chiropractor. Not only saves my back and hips, but saves me money, too. The mesh design helps to keep me cooler in the summer when it is very hot where I live. ... show more

It’s a nice back support and I would have kept it except for one problem. The sizing run on the smaller side. At least that was the case on the XL that I ordered. Had to send it back.

I have a 34 waist with some extra.and I am 6'0 tall. And the large-xlg fits perfectly. Very comfortable, non irritating, and very breathable. Directly on my skin, a little scratchy, but edges of brace and lumbar cushion very nice. Had other brace and broke out in rash, probably had latex and was definitely not breathable. While waiting for this brace to be delivered, my back pain started coming back. And I noticed I'm sending and lifting differently. Goal is to stretch more and take care of my back pain, before it gets worse. Back pain Curse of the tall people. :-) ** update 09/04/2015: slides around a lot! go from sitting in car, etc to standing, it moves a lot, constantly adjusting. bllahhh ... show more
