Super easy set up, directions are clear and simple to follow. It’s VERY small, but for a rabbit or two it is probably perfect after some modification, at least for outdoor use. The bottom is open, so digging predators could definitely be a problem. My biggest complaint is that the door locks are all on the bottom corners of the door. The locks nearest to the ground get dirty fast, especially after rain, and they are hard to close. Also, since they are on the bottom, the top corner of the door eventually pops out a little. It’s not much, but it is enough that a persistent raccoon could probably pull the door open without much difficulty. The materials are sort of flimsy, so I doubt it will hold up more than a year or so. We’ll see. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This rabbit hitch is the perfect size for 1-2 rabbits! We got our kids some rabbits for Easter, so we jumped on Amazon and tried to find a couple of these and this is one of the ones that we bought! It smells so nice and is extremely easy (and kind of fun) to assemble. I have some advice though: The bott right door hinge does better if you remove it from the bottom and place it at the center. Why? Well because the top of the this door does not have support for closure otherwise and your pet will possibly (well, most likely) escape! I have shown for you in the pictures what it is that I changed. It is such a cute, well built cage otherwise and the change for the hinge take only a couple of minutes to move! I picked this cage in particular because it comes with a roof and will protect our rabbits from the elements of the outdoors. I would recommend that this could also work for baby chickens, a chinchilla, a couple Gineau pigs, or any smallish critter pet that you might have. The pull out tray is amazing for trying to keep your cage clean. It has 3 different modes of entry. The wire is sufficient for hanging food and water dishes. It also has a walking plank for the animals to get from the bottom into the top or vice versa. Overall, I think this cage is more than sufficient for our rabbit needs. It is a keeper! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When you open this box you immediately get hit with a small fresh wood. My bunnies “helped” the whole time I was assembling. It took me about an hour. If you have ever built ikea furniture you’ll be able to do this. The directions are clear, but only photos. All the holes are pre-drilled, but an electric screwdriver is very helpful, more so than two dwarf rabbits. There’s plenty of room for the two of them (2&3lbs) to stay on both floors, but they haven’t ventured to the second floor yet. I like that I can pick up the whole hutch and clean under if there is an accident. My rabbits are free roam, but are choosing to spend most of the day in their cabin. ... show more

I was disappointed that the wood wasn’t stronger; I mean, if it was kept covered under a roof or something, then it’d probably last awhile, but in the weather, I doubt it’d last long at all

This is a cute, small chicken or rabbit hutch. I keep bantam (small breeds only) chickens and will NOT be using this for adult chickens. It’s way too small. If you use this for a rabbit hutch I’d recommend only for dwarf breeds. It’s sturdy and easy to assemble. I’m putting it inside my main coop to use for transitioning older chicks into the flock. As long as you’re realistic about the size of this hutch and what can comfortably live in it, it’s a nice little house. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Easy to put together, all pieces were included. Only needed a screwdriver. Sturdy and big enough to use for a small chicken or rabbit. Would be good for a sick or injured isolation coop. Pull out drawer will be easy to clean.
