Instructions did not come with this. We happened to look on the inside of the removable front portion, to find instructions on how to light the heater. After several frustrating attempts, the red pilot light would not ignite. We then pulled out the igniter, only to deduce that it might need a battery. We happened to read some reviews and found out about the igniter needing batteries. We have not actually used it yet, but very frustrating so far. Instructions would be helpful. Should not have to hunt and peck.

This looked like a good option for my patio but when I tried to turn it on and hit the ignite button nothing happened. This thing won't ignite after several hours of fighting to turn it on. I gave up on it and called amazon for a refund. I wouldn't recommend it for this reason but if you want to try it, go ahead.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the buildings and how easy they were to come together. The company went to great lengths to ensure that the product arrived intact. Its packaging - including the plastic sheeting that covers the heat shield - couldn't be better. All assemblies are clearly marked and separated, and the instructions are clear and easy to understand. The heater worked well and it looked great on our patio. Probably the best product I've ever bought.

My brother uses this on his apartment’s deck set on the floor. It’s nice, heat really flows under the silver top which is why it’s table-top. Although it is too big/tall for a regular table, you need a large table with nothing above it.
