    • Great for back yard

I’ve always enjoyed sitting next to these heaters outdoor at a restaurant. Finally got one for our backyard. I thought it would take me 10 minutes to put together but it took about 35-40 minutes. It was worth the effort since it turned out beautiful. It is sturdy and looks great next to our lounge chairs. The one thing I was a little disappointed with was that the top was a little dented from shipping. But I reached out to seller and they were very responsive to my inquiry. ... show more

    • Oooooh Ahhhhhh I have a HUGE Flaming Heater Now
Size: 19.5"x19.5"x90" Color: Silver
Review Image by CA Contractor
I love to BBQ in my backyard and I got this Tangkula 90-inch Outdoor Patio Heater, 42000 BTU Portable Outdoor Pyramid through Amazon Vine. I am a landscape contractor, and I have resisted buying one of these heaters because they are one of the most common items that my customers ask me to haul away when we are remodeling their yards. I just haven't seen very many that last more than a couple of years before they rust out and get tossed. So it was with some hesitation that I bought this heater - especially since it was over a hundred degrees at my house in So Cal this week. But I know eventually it will cool down and after I got this kit put together, it really cranks out some heat. This is a more modern version of the post with a hat on top that is common on outdoor restaurant patios. The glass tube and pyramid tower are artistic and the flame is mesmerizing to watch. I will be honest, the instructions for this are horrible and the tools provided are not the best way to construct it. The protective sheeting is a pain to remove - especially if you wait until after it is assembled. Take off all the plastic first. Use a cordless screwdriver with a magnetic bit. The instructions also have you attached things that must later be removed to complete the assembly. I think maybe an engineering review of the instructions would facilitate more efficient completion, but whatever. It will take about 30 to 45 minutes to assemble alone without distractions and less than four beers. The heater takes a minute to prime the gas line when it first starts up, but then the igniter works well and it operates reliably. This is a large device that will require some extra space to store it and even though it is stainless steel, it will probably last longer outdoors if it is covered. I think I have seen purpose made covers for this style of pyramid online. The wheels are nice, but it can still be awkward to roll on an uneven surface and probably best to do it with two people if possible to avoid breaking the glass. This thing gets CRAZY HOT and pets and kids should be kept at a safe distance for safety. Overall, this is a good value for this heater at $200. I have seen these sold for as much as $600 for essentially the same unit. ... show more

    • Great heater!
Easy assembly. Gives off nice heat on those chilly evenings.

    • It’s big, it’s sharp looking, and it requires a bit of assembly.
Size: 19.5"x19.5"x90" Color: Silver
As an outdoor heater, this is pretty awesome. It looks great, and I can’t wait to use it when colder weather arrives. It is a great addition to our deck. It’s a push button start, and an easy read control knob. The pyramid shape and glass tube definitely adds a touch of class. Now having said that, there is obviously a bit of assembly required. The assembly instructions involve some convoluted routes to completion, including removing some screws in later sections that were 8nstslled early on. Also, if you follow the instructions you will need a step ladder to place the topper and shield on. One other note, I suspect there is a special place for whoever designed the protective plastic coating on the stainless steel panels. On mine, the plastic that held the screws came loose from the cardboard backing somewhere along the line, and I had to find as many as possible floating loose in the box, and run to the hardware store for a few that were never found. Overall assembly time is a couple of hours, but a large portion of that is peeling off those protection sheets - trust me, you will be making up new words as you peel these off in little, sticky pieces. Once completed, this is a very tall unit, every inch of the ninety stated. It does move around easily though, thanks to the wheels on one side. It’s not overly heavy without the propane tank. You definitely need to tilt it to get in and out of doors though. ... show more

    • Ads comfort to those chilly nights
Size: 20.5"x20.5"x89" Color: Black+Silver
This is a patio outdoor heater. It’s the pyramid shape as opposed to the hat shape. I like the pyramid shape because it seems to heat a larger area when you’re sitting around it. We’re using it outside on our patio, and feel it’s handy to have when the weather gets chilly. This is for personal, not commercial use. We like sitting outdoors, but sometimes it does get a little cool. This should add a level of comfort to our outdoor dining and other types of outdoor enjoyment. I appreciate the safety features of this. We live in a high fire area, so anything that could cause combustion is a concern. This has a triple safety feature, including if it tips over it turns itself off. ... show more

    • Difficult build, but works great once that’s accomplished
Size: 20.5"x20.5"x89" Color: Black+Silver
The Tangkula 45000 BTU Pyramid Patio Heater looks great once it’s assembled and puts out a nice amount of heat. My biggest complaint was putting it together. The instructions could have been much clearer and the tools they included really weren’t very helpful. Thankfully, I’m pretty comfortable putting things together, so I was able to figure it out without too much trouble, but I could definitely see the assembly being frustrating for someone who isn’t. Once I got past that part, I was really happy with the heater itself. It lights easily, feels sturdy and the wheels make it much easier to move around the patio. I also really appreciate that it comes with a zippered cover to protect it when we aren’t using it. The heater itself performs as expected. ... show more

First of all, this glass heater is made with beautiful frame as you see in my pictures which is heavy duty and anti rust. Second, the flames look suoer gorgeous during the night and it's fun to gather around. Third, assembly will take about 25 minutes which is easy to set up. Also, as you see, the cover is included which is custom made. One thing you need to remember, these glass heaters are 45000 btu, so in compare to other outdoor heater which don't have glass , have less heat, but they are beautiful. ... show more
