Worse tarp ever made. We put it up on Father’s Day in June. It disintegrated completely by August 10. I usually get about 2 years out of tarps at my Florida hone on this same pole barn. Thus one did not last 2 months. Please donor buy this cheaply manufactured tarp. Not worth anything at all and I paid almost 60% more than I normally do. This survived a 20 hour drive at 75 mph+ through rain and had no tears or leaks. I secured it to prevent air from getting under the edges, but that should be expected. I suspect many complaints related to driving and tearing are due to the tarp being allowed to flap in the wind; the forces exerted on a large, lightweight object like a tarp at speed are enormous. If you're responsible and tie down your load and the tarp edges, this will serve you well. I have also used it outside for a couple of months now and it doesn't seem to show any signs of breaking down. ... show more

The good: Tarp material is of high quality. It is very thick and heavy. I bought the 20'x40' to use as a roof over subfloor for house I am building. I needed something that wont rip from snow load or minor winds. This tarp is awesome. The 20'x40' is around 50 pounds. The bad: Grommets around every 18" but are not high quality. Some of the grommets were not on the tarp fully and hanging off. When I passed a rope through and put just a little bit of tension on the rope (roughly 5 pounds of tension) the grommet pulled out. Only saving grace is there is a grommet every 18" so I was able to use the tarp. Overall: It does its job and the description is accurate. Heavy duty for sure! Buenas tardes: Desafortunadamente el producto, lona marrón por mí comprado, vino con defectos de fábrica, que sólo pudieron ser observados en el momento de desempacarla y utilizarla para cubrir una tienda o carpa de camping. Inmediatamente la desempacamos observamos que varios de los orificios o grommets de los cuales amarramos las cuerdas para fijarla al piso, estaban mal adheridos a la lona, desprendidos, y varios de ellos muy al borde de la lona e incluso pegados con la mitad fuera de la lona. Adicionalmente costuras de la lona sueltas o no bien pegadas. Todos estos defectos se pueden apreciar en las fotos que adjunto. Por los anteriores motivos me encuentro totalmente insatisfecho con el producto y agradecería me lo cambiaran por otra lona que no tuviera estos defectos. ... show more

I bought this tarp (10 x 20, 16 mil) to cover my woodpile because of the thickness. Normally a tarp lasts a couple of years. This tarp started degrading right away in the summer sun, and by the fall had lost much of its weatherproofing. I had to put plastic under the tarp to keep water out of the woodpile. This winter I find pieces of wood frozen together deep in the woodpile, and have to dry it out around the stove before I burn it. I wrote to the company about my concerns earlier in the winter, but they did not respond. I would give this product no stars if I could, and warn everybody not to buy it. ... show more

This material is all that the description notes. I have purchased a couple of these and I am buying another to replace a cheap canopy that I recently purchased. These are actually better if your replacing the tops of your canopy. They are heavy duty, rain resistant and are suppose to not fade. So far, I'm very happy with this product and the pricing.
