I got this tarp because I live in an apartment building with a back porch and I wanted to cover it up since I have 2 stray cats that come and hang out in my porch. Even though the porch is roofed, rain and snow was still getting all over the floor. I wanted to create a space where the cats could get away from the harsh elements and this was the perfect temporary solution as a renter. I stapled 2 tarps to the wooden fence and ceiling and they're doing a great job at keeping snow and rain outside. I leave 2 corners open and the cats very quickly learned how to come in and exit. There were some extreme high wind days where the tarp started to come down in some corners, but a few quick staples fixed it. The tarp itself has lasted about 5 months and it's still up now. There's a few holes on it (probably from the staples combined with high winds which may have caused it to tear a little). Still, it's standing strong today. Great, thick tarp. Used it under our Waterslide and sprinklers to make a whole splash pad. Kids loved running around on it. Held the water in great, so will keep water out great too!

Huge, pretty sturdy. Has held up through quite a few windy and stormy days. There is some minor fraying where the tarp rubbed against beams, but that is fairly normal.

We purchased this for hay season over the winter. It was kept in the package in the garage over the winter and we took it out about 2 weeks ago to cover a stack of hay. Over the last two weeks we have had most of the grommets rip out and the wear of the tarp is very apparent with some thinning in areas. The sun protection is minimal/nonexistent. It is horrible quality for the price, I would not recommend this. Our Costco tarps (12' x 16' for $20-$30) are better quality and side by side they are holding up with minimal wear. I would not recommend this for anything you care about. If we could, I would return this and ask for my money back. ... show more
