I got this tarp because I live in an apartment building with a back porch and I wanted to cover it up since I have 2 stray cats that come and hang out in my porch. Even though the porch is roofed, rain and snow was still getting all over the floor. I wanted to create a space where the cats could get away from the harsh elements and this was the perfect temporary solution as a renter. I stapled 2 tarps to the wooden fence and ceiling and they're doing a great job at keeping snow and rain outside. I leave 2 corners open and the cats very quickly learned how to come in and exit. There were some extreme high wind days where the tarp started to come down in some corners, but a few quick staples fixed it. The tarp itself has lasted about 5 months and it's still up now. There's a few holes on it (probably from the staples combined with high winds which may have caused it to tear a little). Still, it's standing strong today. Also, when there are very high winds, the noises of the tarp can be loud. Overall, the 8x10 tarp is big and the price point is great.

Huge, pretty sturdy. Has held up through quite a few windy and stormy days. There is some minor fraying where the tarp rubbed against beams, but that is fairly normal.

Don't last as long as the heavier duty black/grey or brown/grey tarps but this does allow some light through which makes cleaning the boat easier while covered and mold mildew growth isn't a quick. It also makes it a little less hot. It's not exactly water proof as it will leak anywhere water stands and it started fading/flaking off the color pigment after a few months. The first one I purchased had no visible flaws. The second one has a grommet installed on the edge and failed immediately out of the package. Not enough of an issue to return. Boat is 30 ft long

Look no further, these are the BEST tarps! So strong and durable, I ended up purchasing several more after my initial order and use for camping. I decided to replace all of my tarps with this brand and color and will use the old, crappy tarps for really dirty, messy projects only. I also absolutely LOVE the color! It is like Midcentury modern blue/turquoise, rich and beautiful! I almost hate to mess them up.

I purchased a 10x12 primarily because of its 12 mil rating but it actually measures 7 mil using a dial caliper. I hope it holds up. It did include 15 bungee cords which are not mentioned in the description but other reviewers did. In other respects, it seems well made. Follow up: To be totally transparent, Teal offered to refund my payment after reading this review which I declined. The thinner fabric will probably hold up in my use case but it's nice to deal with an honorable company. Thank you Teal Elite. Follow Follow up: It's been a little over a year since I put this tarp in service. Seeing how it performed, I thought I would update my review. The tarp is covering a wood pile and I placed cardboard over the top logs to help smooth out the irregular surface. The tarp is secured along the perimeter at ground level and I placed weights on top to help keep the wind from lifting it. It is in a very protected place and it only receives direct sunlight for about 4 months every year. I don't check on it very often but I noticed pieces of blue fabric blowing around the yard. I traced it back to my wood pile. As the picture shows, the tarp has totally disintegrated over the top due to direct sun. So much for their claim of UV resistance. I wish I had taken Teals offer to refund my money and I would have bought a different brand. The worse part is I have to get a new tarp and go to the trouble of securing it like I did this one.
