A whopping 50% thicker waterproof coating than most tarps available locally. Thank you Hanjet. Everything underneaath was as dry aas a bone from Aug 2020 thru 1st wk of April 2021, just about a full 8 months. Don't let the condensation on the inside tarp surface during a heavy rain decieve you; it's NOT leakage, just a dew point temperature and high humidity; in an hour after the storm, the tarp surface is dry with no trace of water. The tarp itself is well cut square and very. durable wwith extra heavy duty grommet reinforcement. I'll definiteely buy again and highly recommend product. It s heavier than most others but that's what it takes to keep eveerything totally bone dry all Autumn & Winter 24/7 & 12/365

Took the tarps camping in NH, they were much thicker and overall felt a lot sturdier than I anticipated. Used two under the tent and another one as a canopy over the picnic table. It was rainy most of the weekend, the tarps under the tent let in zero moisture, and the canopy held up beautifully. I usually throw tarps out after a trip like this because they get wet, dirty, and beat up, however this time, I kept all 3 and will continue to use them.

My husband and I love to camp and one thing we were set on was finding a great tarp to put under our tent to help with the condensation, wetness etc. All the things that come with camping. We had a bad storm and heavy rainfall, and the bottom of our tent didn't even get wet, which was not like the year before. i had 2 sheets of PLYWOOD that i coated with THOMPSON WATER SEAL that i needed to cover up before we got one of the SCHEDULED....."ISOLATED".... thunderstorm rains on them. I NEEDED the VERY quickly & got overnight shipping to get them the same "DAY"-ordered them EARLY morning. THEY WORKED OUT PERFECTLY!!!! I was finished strapping them down when it began to SPRINKLE....that turned into a 15 minute "STEADY" light rain!!!! THANX GUYS/GALS for your QUICK response to my order!!!!!

The tarp is a nice sturdy, thick plastic. But I stretched this out on top of a Dog Kennel outside to provide shade and shelter from rain. I used bungee cords, hooking through the eyelets to the wire fence. One of the corners completely came off, and the string and eyelets broke on a couple sections. It may be that I pulled to too tight (to avoid rain from pooling ans saggy in the middle). I'd definitely use it for other purposes.
