I feel like you can see the actual color of the blades in this picture. A little darker than we expected but still works great for us. This fan comes with a remote control with 6 fan speeds and 3 timer settings. We have it in a room that's roughly 225sqft and it keeps the room cool on a medium speed. The light is bright and will light up the entire room but is a yellow light. Again, fine with us but was expecting more of a white light from the pictures. UPDATE: Removing stars. Guess what, the remote is lost! A lot sooner than I anticipated. That’s having toddlers for ya. Since the fan resets to the “bright white” when you flip the light on and off rapidly (you know, like kids do), I now have a surgical white looking light with useless fan in my kids room. Boo. The fan moves air really well and was plenty easy to install. I wish the fan had some more flexibility and that brings me to personal gripes. With a few fixes this could be a great product. 1. The fan doesn’t have an option for people who have separate light and fan switches. I am forced to use their “box” that could break sometime down the road, and also have to keep track of their remote that I bet will be impossible to replace if it ever breaks or is lost. 2. The light on the fan is….. well, it’s BRIGHT. I mean, you could do surgery under the light this thing provides. It’s way too much for the size room the fan should be used in. I mean no kidding, I don’t want to have the light on with my kid laying down under it it’s that bright Overall, i’d be happier if it could dim and had the choice to use a two switch install and have some pull cords like the old fashioned fans had. Installation was easy and straightforward. The remote control seems to be lacking in button features, specifically Light dimming options, you have to press the light button and each time the light turns on or off, it cycles through a different color option, it just doesn't auto set on one color, this is ANNOYING. The fan itself is quiet. The fan blades are made of a cheap material that will most certainly crack under pressure or be susceptible to wilting in humid environments. ... show more
