It doesn't have a light but it's not important because they just needed a good airflow which this fan has. It was easy to install it, I was surprised that it wasn't that heavy. Very nice ceiling fan. Moves a lot of air and comes with a great multifunction remote control. Note this fan comes with no provisions for grounding so despite the listing stating for use in outdoor areas, it should only be used in dry indoor areas.
