This looks nice and works as advertised. However, the handle is cast aluminum and breaks off easier than I would like. The wind caught the shed door and whipped it open. When the handle hit the shed wall it was bent inward. I probably should have left it that way but I tried to bend it back to its original position and it snapped off. I have bought the same one again to replace the broken one and I have installed a door bumper to prevent the hand from hitting the shed wall in the future. ... show more

Well made handle, looks good on my shed!! I installed this on my shed, which already had a handle on it, had to make some modifications to my door to install but wasn't too bad and once installed it looks awesome!!! The subdued color changed to whole outlook of my lil building!!!

I used two of these on a shed I just built; one for the double door and one for the man-door. They are well-made and function perfectly. However, be advised they came with no instructions. Having a diagram with the set-backs and diameter of necessary holes would have been helpful. Also note that because the lock mechanism is proud of the face plate, you will have to "countersink" the mechanism, i.e. drill a larger concentric hole to accommodate the locking cylinder. Apart from this unfortunate design, the locks are very good. ... show more

Works well on my garden shed that I turned into my ham radio shack. Drilled the hole for the shank, then enlarged the outside of that hole to accept the handle. The inside handle was easy to install with the included Allen wrench. The lock mechanism works smoothly without problems. It sure is a lot nicer than the padlock hinge that was on before. The StartFine L-Handle Shed Door Handle was exactly what I was looking for to replace the standard handle on my shed. It was quick and easy to install. Just removed the original one, and placed this one in it's place. I was pleased to see that it came with 3 keys instead of 2.
