The item I received said "Tefal" on it rather than "T-Fal," so I assumed it was a counterfeit item and maybe even unsafe to use, and wrote a review saying this (which I am editing right now), but I contacted T-Fal customer support and they confirmed that this is the correct item--the company name varies from country to country.
