This 12-piece T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Nonstick set has quickly become the backbone of my kitchen. From weeknight dinners to weekend meal prep, it’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it—sauces, stir-fries, eggs, stews—with ease. The hard anodized aluminum construction feels super durable without being too heavy. The heat distribution is even, and the nonstick surface is outstanding—nothing clings, and cleanup is basically a rinse and wipe. I’ve been cooking without oil or butter on lower heat and still getting perfect results. The set includes a great variety: two fry pans, saucepans with lids, a Dutch oven, and a few utensils that are surprisingly solid. Great set of non stick cookware. Love both skillets, best I've used in decades. They clean up so easily, truly non stick, sometimes I just wipe with a paper towel. Nice medium weight, not too heavy, not too light. Good heat distribution, great silicone handles. Use daily, no scratches yet, and I'm not terribly careful as a cook. Good in dishwasher if needed.     • Great pots, need bigger skillet and no egg pan.

I did a lot of research before buying a pan set. Overall I'm very happy with it so far. My downgrade is for the so called egg wonder and skillet sizes. I should have used a ruler to check the sizes of the skillets. Both are excellent but we will have to buy a larger skillet to use too. We have a gas range with a small pot burner. My husband tried to cook 2 eggs today in the doll sized skillet. You can only baste eggs in it. You could never scramble eggs. The skillet is so small you can not turn an egg over. The tfal coating is excellent, the eggs came right out having only seasoned the pan and not adding oil. However the bottom of the eggs were overdone and I had to improvise a lid to get the top to cook. One reason I bought this set is there are only two of us and many pot sets have a taller stock pot. This size pot, and the smaller one, are perfect sizes for our use. I haven't used the steamer yet. It fits the smaller pot well as a steamer. I had hoped it fit inside more but that's a problem with buying online and not seeing something personally. Cleaning is great. I followed another reviewers advice and wash with dish soap on a paper towel and it's easy and quick. ... show more

This review is for the T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized Dishwasher Safe Nonstick Cookware Set, 12-Piece, Red. I had not upgraded my pots and pans in quite awhile, so it was with great satisfaction that I now have this set. Definitely good quality and saved me a bundle over an Anolon set I was considering. This was also the only set I was able to find that had the exact number and type of pots and pans I was replacing. I was willing to try different set configurations, but only if they at least included a 1, 2, and 4 quart pot, a Dutch oven, and 2 frying pans, with lids for most or all of the pieces. (All the pots have lids and one of the pot lids fits the smaller fry pan, but the large fry pan is not so lucky.) After reading the reviews I had some trepidation, but I've been completely satisfied with my purchase. My set was clearly brand new, clean, and not damaged. I have not used them for long, but I just made an omelette with zero oil and it was amazing how fast it cooked and how it slid right out of the pan like a TV commercial. Very even cooking, something reviews on some other site(s) dinged this set for. The "T-spot" kind of worked; probably more gimmicky than useful long-term, but we'll see. Some tips to avoid some of the problems others have reported: 1. Never heat a pan or cook anything on high. You won't need to anyway, as the pans heat up so fast. 2. Follow included instructions for seasoning pans, something you may not think of doing for non-stick pans. 3. Never wash non-stick pans in the dishwasher, no matter what any manufacturer says. 4. Ditto on not using metal utensils--it's just begging to chip the teflon-like coating. 5. Allow pans to cool before washing to avoid warping. 6. Don't assume shoddy manufacturing if your pan gets dented after dropping from several feet onto a hard floor. AKA, use common sense. 7. Use some sort of protective pads between pans when storing. Some of the cardboard packaging it comes with is useful in this regard. Update 6/22/21: The last 3 pics are of my most used pan in the set. Notice that there is NO flaking or chipping of the teflon and the bottom is not badly darkened. Another reviewer showed their discolored and warped pan--which was clearly used on too high of a heat setting and/or cleaned when the pan was still hot. As mentioned previously, not going above medium-high heat, not putting pans in the dishwasher, waiting to clean until cool and lightly seasoning inside pan with oil occasionally has kept my set looking good and performing as well as the first day. This is not my first non-stick cookware. I know how to ruin them, so the advice I offered (which comes from the manufacturer, BTW) is solid.
