I think this is a great little pan. I've heard lots of positive remarks about the Swiss Diamond brand from extended family and friends, but as someone that cooks mostly with cast iron, I have never purchased anything in that line myself. However, not everyone in my immediate family shares my love of cast iron, so I do have a few pieces of non-stick cookware. My husband, especially likes to use non-stick skillets when preparing breakfast (small skillet for eggs and large one for bacon or meat). He is always annoyed when someone else in the family invariably uses his skillets at high heat and ends up ruining the finish. So I ordered this one for him and he thinks it is great. It is small and just the right size for fried eggs or an omelette. The skillet features an attractive hard anodized aluminum exterior and the dark non-stick inside finish is smooth and truly does result in easy release of food using just a bit of oil. The skillet is heavy for its size and has a stable, flat base. The handle is sturdy and well balanced and is easy to grasp. This is a very well made skillet and the price seems very reasonable. I will definitely be on the lookout for one of the larger skillets in this line.

This small, nonstick skillet is perfect for cooking small amounts and is a must-have for most kitchens. The handle is comfortable to hold and the pan is not too heavy. The metal handle will not get hot on the stove unless you position it over a flame or heating element, but heat does not spread up from the pan while cooking. The metal handle also has the advantage of being able to be put in the oven, unlike plastic or rubberized handles. The pan comes out of the dishwasher looking perfect. There is a booklet that comes with the pan saying that no fat or cooking spray is needed and gives interesting tips for the best way to use nonstick cookware, but I don’t think the industry has yet come up with a nonstick surface for cooking eggs without any oil. I always use a skillet this size for cooking eggs for one or two people, and not surprisingly, the scrambled eggs stick to the pan without any oil, so I will continue to use a little oil or butter for eggs. But any residue does clean up very easily with water and a gentle sponge. Foods like meat or vegetables can be cooked without fat. Metal utensils should not be used with it unless they have nylon, silicone or wooden ends because metal with scratch the nonstick surface. I really like this little skillet and recommend it.

I just got a new stove and I wasn't sure if I could use my pans on the glass top. Pans are so expensive so I tried to do a lot of research. One requirement that I had for new pans was that they were not going to damage the stove top, and that they were oven safe. I've never had oven safe pans but I use a food delivery plan that most of the meals go directly from the stove to the oven. I love this pan! I love the nonstick surface, the size, and one of my favorite things...dishwasher safe. This is a great size pan for eggs, grilled cheese, or quesadillas. The handle doesn't conduct heat from the stove, although I'm sure it would get hot in the oven so I'll probably burn myself at least once. Now that I have experienced this pan and know how it cooks, I'm much more confident in buying and recommending this brand!

This Swiss Diamond 8 In. Anodized, Nonstick Frying Pan meets my needs perfectly. Wonderfully manufactured and nicely finished, this pan is study and surely appears as if it will hold up over time. One of the things I love about it is that although I thought it might be a bit small from the description for my needs, ( I chose the 8 inch diameter ) it turns out it is the perfect size for a one person breakfast ! The surface was non-stick enough for my needs..and the pan cleans up easily. I also think that in today's world this little pan is a bargain...! I am very very happy with this item....thank you!
