Calling at hot flash sufferers!!! I got this item and immediately unboxed it. Filled the little reservoir with ice cold water. Turned it on ....and voila!! Five minutes in and my lobster red face returned to my semi normal pasty color. I decided to be adventurous and proceeded to hold this tiny handheld miracle down the front of my shirt to...you know ...cool the girls off a bit. waste of money! i spent all day looking stupid because this kept dripping water on my shirt, i got more on my shirt than i got misted on me, and i was wearing it how the picture showed, on my neck. can't return it because i tossed the box too early since i was on vacation.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased and surveyed 7 of the best hand held portable misting fans here on Amazon $20-$50 range, and this is my honest unbiased review. Pros: 1. This fan has some cool features such the very cute lanyard attachment for wearing on your neck. While it isn’t adjustable, it’s really the perfect height. 2. It also features a complete 360 fold, it folds completely in half. Which is very convenient for storing purposes, as a mom with many things to throw in the bag, I love and need that. Cons: 1. The airflow is wider than other competing handheld misting fans. This naturally because the fan is a bigger than others, however the engine that powers it, is a bit weak, so the wind blow will be lost in the heat when it really matters. For the same cost you can get a very similar fan that looks the same and works like a powerhouse right here on Amazon. 2. The mist on this pink one is so weak, it’s nearly non existent. I can’t say that it’s any different in reference to the other colors, bc I only purchased one. However when compared to other handheld fans I purchased, this one ranked the absolute lowest. 3. Lacks a digital display to tell you how much power it has, or what level the fan is on. If you don’t require all those bells and whistles, then this should work out fine for you. I find this feature particularly useful when outdoors so you can gauge and monitor your usage accordingly. Final take away, I returned it. Wasn’t efficient enough for my moneys. ... show more
