Saw this on a men's site as something which helps with prostate health (helps shrink enlarged) and with the added benefit of increasing semen and seminal fluid volume pre/post ejaculation. I don't have any issues with either, and took it out of curiosity, so I can't comment on the prostate shrinking, but the other part I can confirm is true after only a single serving. Haven't noticed any adverse effects such as decrease in libido as some report, taking the recommended dosage. Cranberry extract is also very good from a health standpoint, as well as Tart Cherry juice if you're having any issues especially.

I was on finesteride and an alpha-blocker, but the finesteride had terrible problems so I stopped it. Rather then be put on a double dose of alpha-blocker I started Swanson Pygeum. It works. I may try stopping the alpha-blocker and using 50% more Pygeum to free myself from that drug with side effects.

They have 2 products, despite this being the "inferior" one, they are honestly the same in my opinion, but I contacted customer support and got this reply. Overall this has been a good supplement for me. Be sure to take the full instructed amount. "Thanks for contacting Swanson's with your question about the difference between SWH097 and SW962. The more potent product is actually the SWH097 because it contains the 26 mg fraction standardized to 25% phytosterols, as well as 400 mg of full spectrum Pygeum Bark. The SW962 with 250 mg of a 4:1 extract would be equal to 1000 mg of full spectrum Pygeum bark, but this product still doesn't have the extra "punch" provided by the 26 mgs of standardized extract in SWH097. "

I've been consuming multiple supplements to keep my prostate in good health for many years. Just last year I found out about Pygeum and after reading some reviews I decided to include it on my list. Well, I think it works really well and after my first bottle I decided to order 2 more. Keep in mind that for supplements you need to keep consistency taking them and takes a bit to build up. I do recommend it!
