It could be of better product but good and sturdy for the price. Was super simple to put together. I use mine for when I'm painting so I use a regular light in the top and a blacklight in the readers lamp to see my glow in dark paint. It's bright and works well for what I'm using it for.

The threads on tube s that form the pole are easily cross threaded! Do not force them. They should be tightened all the way by hand!

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! I bought this lamp in 2023 and have enjoyed it's use since then. Just recently the turn-on/off knob fell off and I simply couldn't find it. I contacted the Seller - BOOSTAREA - and worked with THEA to see if I could buy a replacement knob from them. They apologized that this had happened (A rare enough occurrence from Customer Service - an apology!) and they didn't simply offer me a free replacement - they sent me a completely NEW FREE lamp! And, then they went on to advise me exactly what kind of light bulb would be the most appropriate. Truly, this company lives up to it's word and cares for it's customers! ... show more

Ordered this lamp on May 8th 2001. Smaller light no longer working as of January 24th 2025. Can't replace bulb. 50,000 hours of operation doesn't seem like a valid approximation.

I bought two of the black lamps (no bulbs) and this is the description: "Floor Lamp, Standing Lamp, 9W LED Torchiere Floor Lamp with 4W Adjustable Reading Lamp, 3000K Energy-Saving LED Bulbs, 3 Way Switch, 50,000hrs Lifespan, Floor Lamps for Bedroom, Living Room, Office". This makes it sound like you can replace the LED bulbs but you can't. It should've said that the LED lights can't be replaced to let customers know that if one or both lights on each lamp burns out then you're just out of luck. Now I'm out two of these lamps because I went to change the LED bulbs and you can't. Just one of the small lights still works. This company should've made that clear or don't even sell lamps that can't replace the bulbs. If I would've known in time, I would've 100% returned them. ... show more
