This started out as the greatest purchase I ever made, but a few months later it turned horribly wrong. Does it work and do the job? Yes. Can you trust it to do it while you are on a trip for 3 days? No! I cleaned the bin before I left just in case but normally it lasts about a week before it’s full. I got home from my trip and I could smell a faint odor of cat pee. I went down stairs and it had leaked onto the base and was revolving in pee and poop! On the outside!! It was everywhere. O took thing apart scrubbed it down and put it back together. Another 2-3 days and I smelled pee again. I went to check and same thing! The waste basket wasn’t even full! It had leaked into the base and there was a puddle of pee. It’s awkward to carry after you take it apart and that made it slosh over and onto my feet. Freaking gross! I refuse to give it another chance. I put it right in the garbage. I can’t get my money back because the return window is closed! I wouldn’t even give it a star except it did work at first but it didn’t last long. Bought the end of March and in the dumpster by June. My only issue is with the waste collection the bags are a good size but they are hard to secure into place snugly and they have to be changed when only about a quarter to a third full or else they make a huge mess. I’ve had this self cleaning box for 3 months now and I love it. It’s easy to replace the bag and add litter. It is a little hard to clean the inside but not difficult. If you don’t replace the bag often there is a smell. I have to cats so I replace the bag twice a week which keeps the odor down. Little to no noise. This one was one of the cheapest options I could find for this type of automatic scooper. Definitely get what you pay for. Cleans fairly well for the most part, though I do occasionally have to unstick clumps of litter from the interior to rotate through the cleaning process. Fairly easy to set up which is good because bits of litter tend to get on the floor in the surrounding area and in the base of the machine so it does need to be taken apart for semi regularly cleaning. Overall, it functions well. I have noticed the automatic feature has randomly turned itself off so keep an eye out to make sure it’s still self cleaning. The app itself is a bit complex for the rather basic features, and I get constant notifications about my cats using the box. However, biggest perks: it was a decent price for cat owners looking for an automatic litter box on a budget, it takes about four days for my two cats to fill a bag, and I rarely notice any smell from the box like with normal boxes we’ve used before. ... show more

Make things so much easier, it was a little difficult to get out of the box due to the packaging (meaning it was very secure), definitely worth the money. It came with a bag already in the compartment as well as 3 rolls of baggies for the waste. I've had it for 10 days already and I'm loving it. It keeps the smells down.
