I liked that it knew without selecting which battery I had 12v/6v. I have not needed it for a trickle charge as of yet. I got it because I already had the connector on my Harley so no seat removal. No down sides other then I wish it had a jump start to it all well.

Loved the wiring harness! It allows part of the wiring to stay connected to the battery without the actual charger being connected. The wiring also has a protective cap to keep out the elements. Perfect for my outside generator - when the battery needs charging I can easily plug it in without having to get to the actual battery. I zip tied the plug to an easily accessible area.

About a year ago I ordered this unit to trickle charge my generator and it’s still working great. So, I recently decided to order another one for my riding mower. It arrived but this one wouldn’t charge so I asked for an exchange, explaining my situation. The company was great and immediately sent me a replacement. (Of course I returned the defective one) The new one came quickly and is working great at trickle charging the battery on my riding mower. This way, over the winter, I don’t have to worry about a dead battery. I appreciate Suuwer being so prompt in sending a replacement!
