Been using this brand about a year because regular dye causes my scalp to burn. This definitely does not. It covers my gray hairs temporarily then washes out after a couple weeks. I have dark brown hair so the grays are now a much lighter brown, permanently which looks a lot like highlights. It's really non-toxic which I have searched for without success with traditional dyes. I keep it in for over an hour so it will stay longer. I dab lotion around my hairline and onto my hands before applying to prevent staining. Wear gloves when applying. If you don't use it all in one application you can put the top on and use it again for next application.

I am saddened to write that this product is no longer acceptable. Discovered this product a couple of years ago at Trader Joe’s and was really happy to have found something I could use at home that was safe and healthy for my hair. At first, everything went well. Then I noticed twice that the product seemed to last less time and required more frequent application. Gloves were missing from the packages as well, in spite of clearly still appearing on the attached instructions leaflet. Decided to order a different batch, this time directly from Amazon. No gloves again and had to use two packages instead of one on my medium length hair. After multiple consecutively disappointing purchases, I decided to stop using this product.

Compré la crema de henna marrón oscuro de Surya Brasil para mi madre y el producto llegó en buenas condiciones, aunque el empaque no fue el mejor, parecía un poco frágil, en cuanto a resultados, cubrió parcialmente las canas, pero no completamente, por lo que no cumplió del todo con las expectativas. También creo que por el precio el paquete debería incluir más accesorios, como un cepillo aplicador, para facilitar su uso, en resumen, es un producto aceptable, pero puede mejorar en presentación y resultados.

I absolutely love Surya Brasil Dark Brown Henna! My hair is 90% gray, and after being gray for over five years, I decided it was time for a change. I discovered this product through Dr. Dray on YouTube, who recommended it as a non-toxic, chemical-free hair dye that leaves your hair softer, shinier, and healthier. That’s exactly why I gave it a try—and now I’m on my third bottle! This henna has exceeded all my expectations. My hair looks amazing, and I often receive compliments on how soft and shiny it is. One thing to note: I do need to leave the product in my hair for at least double the recommended time to fully cover my grays. For root touch-ups, I need to refresh my roots every three weeks or so. When I do this, I simply mix the touch-up amount into my roots and then work it into my hair, like highlights, ensuring it blends seamlessly. What I love most about Surya Brasil is that it has no strong smell, no harsh chemicals, and no irritation.
