Ocean Spray dried cranberries are always a special treat for me. I use them in cooking, in cereals, in oatmeal, wherever I want to add some character and taste. I appreciate this product for many reasons. It is a great value. The package actually is resealable, unlike too many products of all kinds these days. I have too often struggled with "resealable" packages of other products that are barely classifiable as such. The only minor drawback is the added sugar, but I eat only small quantities at a time, so that is not a problem for me. I confess. These are a fav I add to cookies and are simply amazing. However, I did not read the description of the product closely enough...this is a BIG bag - BIG. It caught me by surprise and I have struggled to use all of the product. Taste is great, it is just ALOT. Lesson? I love having these on hand for adding to salads, and for a surprising number of recipes. I can even take a flour tortilla, place some cheese in it and then sprinkle a small handful of these, microwave for 30 seconds and it’s an excellent healthy snack!
