I have a tiny lawn but still a hundred or so feet of yard that is adjacent to neighbors’ yards. The magnetic strip that is included is about 20% as long as I would need to cover that length. I contacted support and they actually do not offer additional magnetic strip sold separately. The result is I had to limit use to my backyard (they recommended I put a brick border around my lawn which flies in the face of easy setup). I followed the setup instructions. It gets stuck but this is rare. My biggest gripe is that so far not even once has it successfully returned to its charging base after mowing. It mows well. Surprisingly so. This section was edited after my first version of the review where it was t mowing as well for some reason. I’m still experimenting with setup, and I fear that I will be putting the magnetic strip such that the mower is restricted to only my backyard. For the same money I could get my whole yard mowed by a landscaper for two full summers or more. UPDATE: I closed off my backyard with magnetic strip. It solved the problem. Mow quality: quite good. Ease of setup/use: could be fine if your whole yard is fenced-in, otherwise trial and error. Battery life: see photo. It will do about that much area before needing a recharge. Figure 2-3 charges to complete my whole yard. I gave a 2nd star for their customer service. Yes I did not like their answer (install brick) but they were responsive and timely with it. EDIT: today it’s 90+ degrees outside and this lil guy mowed (almost) my whole backyard. If it could find its way back to the charging station on its own I’d be at 4*. This can’t get to 5*cm but it’s a solid 3-4* (give it a chance before judgment, mine seems to get better with every mow) ... show more

    • No truly wireless.
Was advertised to be wireless but requires existing boundaries. Fences, walls or borders. It uses magnetic tape for areas without a physical border and they supply about 30 feet for my use I would have needed over 400 feet of this tape. I returned it.

As a pet owner with an energetic golden retriever, I was always cautious about using a regular mower. My dog likes to walk around the lawn, and I was always worried about accidents. Since I started using the Sunseeker V3, all of that worry is gone. The mower is surprisingly quiet, and my dog doesn't even see it—sometimes it just lies down watching it do its work. What I really enjoyed is how easy the mower is to maneuver around objects. We have garden beds and trees, and it moves around them just fine. I can also program mowing via the app, so it's very convenient to manage, especially when I have work to do. That it charges itself is such a huge bonus—one less thing to remember. If you’re a busy homeowner who loves their pets and wants a hassle-free way to keep your lawn looking great, I’d definitely recommend giving this mower a try. ... show more

For what it is, I think it is a fine machine. I would recommend to those that are considering a purchase, to look at it's limitations. For this mower to work well, you need a fairly even lawn without too many dips or large clumps of grass or tree roots. My robot gets stuck constantly and I am stuck with it. I thought it would be smarter and able to navigate a dumbell shaped lawn easier, but it has trouble navigating the grass path to get to the other lawn area easily. Also, i had hoped that it would be able to be used in two lawns (front of house and back of house) but the zones can only be so far apart. Anyways, research before you pull the trigger. I have used it for a full year now. It was easy to set up, and it keeps the grass looking good — when it is not stuck. The problem is that it seems to get stuck very easily andneeds to be rescued. For someone who travels a lot and wants to keep the grass trimmed while gone, it is not ideal. I do not think I would buy it again. (I am going to try to add something to the wheels to give it better traction which may improve my impression of it.) ... show more

I've been using the Sunseeker V3 automatic lawn mower for over a week now, and overall, I'm very satisfied. It's especially perfect for someone like me who has a busy work schedule but still wants to keep the yard neat. My lawn is about 1/4 acre, and I used to spend one to two hours every week pushing a traditional mower—hot, sweaty, and exhausting. This mower’s multi-zone navigation and one-click start feature have truly been a game-changer. The navigation is accurate, and it rarely bumps into trees or fences. The lawn always looks clean and evenly cut. One thing I really enjoy is how easy it is to control everything through the app.The interface is simple and user-friendly, even for someone not super tech-savvy like me. Of course, no machine is perfect. It does miss a bit along the edges—especially near flower beds or close to fences—so I still do a bit of touch-up with a trimmer now and then. But since it handles over 90% of the work for me, that small issue is totally acceptable. Also, I have to mention their customer service. I had a minor issue during the initial setup (the app was a bit glitchy when connecting), but when I contacted support, they responded quickly and even sent me a step-by-step video. The support team was patient and helpful, which really gave me peace of mind. All in all, the Sunseeker V3 has been one of the best smart home purchases I’ve made this year.
