Update2: I received my replacement part for the broken tablet holder. The company/service was great and they shipped me the new part. No instructions and I figured out how to install it. Very easy. The back of the console has 8 screws (they are covered with round stickers). Remove the stickers (stick them temporarily onto the console to store them). Remove the screws from the backplate. Be careful as there is one wire that goes to the usb so you don’t want to pull on that. Remove the 2 screws that hold one side of the tablet bracket I chose to remove the left side bracket as it doesn’t have moving parts. Insert the new tablet holder into both side brackets and screw the left side bracket back on. Put the backplate back being careful to tuck the usb cable in so it doesn’t interfere with the seating the backplate. Screw backplate screws in and put the stickers back over the screws. Updated: it’s been a few days and my husband and I are enjoying the new treadmill which runs beautifully and it’s pretty quiet. I’m using YouTube to find scenic walks and doing quick intervals until I get in shape. Today I put my iPhone on the tray and the tray fell down…. Phone got smashed on the tile floor so headed to the Apple Store…. 450.00 to repair. Be careful with the tablet holder it’s only a small piece of plastic that holds in on. Also realized the treadmill does not seem to have speakers…..or I just don’t know how to use. I’ll be looking it up, but use my echo dot which is fine. 1st Review: I’m having a little buyers remorse. The machine is wonderful and works really well. I spent a lot of time researching various treadmills and had some very specific requirements. I wanted low profile, folding, Bluetooth capability and a wider, longer deck with incline, for under 800.00. It was a tall order (I know!) so, I knew I would likely have to compromise somewhere. After all the research, I found adding incline would make it impossible for me to fold and hide the tread under my pull down Murphy bed, so I compromised on the incline and bought this model. Today, I came across the SF-T722022 which offers all of the features I need AND much more (swivel monitor and water bottle holder - yes, please!). While this treadmill does have a more narrow deck, I think a compromise on this would have been a better option. The price is also lower on the T722022! So I’m a little pissed off I didn’t see this model sooner. So disappointed I made the wrong purchase (even though I like the treadmill). I Just wanted to let anyone who has these same requirements know there is a better and less expensive option if you can compromise on the deck width. Another thing to note is the Bluetooth on these machines do not work like regular Bluetooth (the device will connect to nothing but the SunnyFit app)….. so don’t expect to be able to connect to your tv, Alexa devices or any regular Bluetooth - It’s a bummer for sure given the Bluetooth models set you back a couple hundred bucks. No screen, no cup holder, all those little extras I didn’t really give too much thought to, suddenly make me think I got a bad deal. Live and learn. ... show more

The machine itself is great for a small area. The first one squeaked under the belt and the package was damaged when we got it. After a few months Sunny Customer Service said a part was broken and we could send it back. Amazon was great with their customer service, made all the arrangements for pickup by UPS at our home for return to Sunny. The machine holds up to 265 lbs. It still squeaks a little but I think the weight of the person has a lot to do do with that! ALSO! Oil it when you get it (directions in middle of book) Those who weigh less than I do (I am over 200 lbs) use it and it does not squeak. Very easy to use, programming great. I bought this because it folds down onto itself for storage, a lot smaller footprint than most. This does however make it not as sturdy. The plastic handrails and whole hinged section has some flex to it. If you wanted this as a means for physical therapy or had to support your own weight on it, it's not very sturdy. Mine arrived with the storage feet cracked and broken. The right step rail also has broken mounts, so it's not very safe when you attempt to step off the belt. I contacted support and the reply was that neither part is available and I would have contact Amazon for a replacement. Which means I'm going to have to pack this badboy back up, squeeze it back into the box, return it and hope the replacement doesn't have any broken parts. The side rails, where you step, are pretty cheap and plastic. There's no real support under them and they're only held on by 4 screws. I'm only 175lbs. They shouldn't have broken by me stepping on them and off of them. That's their sole purpose. The feet appear to of been damaged on packing. The surrounding Styrofoam is intact, so I can't see how they got smashed. Buyer beware, save all of your packing materials up to the 90 day return policy. I’ve had this for about a week now, used it 5 times for 45-60 mins at a time, haven’t attempted to run on it yet, walking is good for now. I like the display how it shows steps/time, distance/calories. I feel safe walking on it and there’s enough space for me, I’m 5’9 and I’d say the belt size is good for my stride length. It feels sturdy but it does occasionally get some extra bounce to it if I land harder, only noticed because my phone when placed on the device holder will start bouncing. Motor noise level while using is fairly quiet. I put music on and barely notice the treadmill. Others have mentioned the LOUD tune it plays when you turn it on, it is LOUD, I’m planning to cover up the speaker holes to see if I can reduce the volume. Also, agree with others posts about the brightness of the screen. I don’t tend to be bothered by the numbers but it’s the small dots that indicate what’s currently shown, these dots are really awful, I’m buying light dimming stickers to cover these up. I bought this for the way it folds up flat, it is pretty easy to move once you get it up on the wheels but the hinge for the upright bar is incredibly tight and it takes some serious effort to lift the bar up. My first attempt I thought it was broken cause I couldn’t get it to move, then I really put some force into pulling and it budged. Don’t try to lift this up a flight of stairs by yourself, probably shouldn’t have tried going down stairs by myself either. Overall I’m happy with my purchase. Hoping it continues to work well and maybe I’ll be running on it soon. Also shout out to Amazon Prime delivery, I waited a week and the whole week I worried that this would arrive damaged or wouldn’t work and then I’d have to figure how to return the thing, easy to do for something small but this sucker is huge. Update in 2023: We purchased this treadmill in April 2022 and it is now in the trash as of May 2023. We liked the belt regularly with the supplied oil, and continued oiling the belt regularly with a different brand when the tiny bottle supplied ran out. About 8 months of constant use resulted in an OIL warning sign on the digital display. This was accompanied by loud, repeated beeping. We ended up throwing this away. Moral of the story: Do not buy this treadmill. Either buy a more expensive treadmill, an oil free elliptical, or an affordable gym membership like Planet Fittness. Initial review in 2022: I waited several weeks before posting a review to make sure this treadmill didn't give out. Make sure you read the manual that comes with this machine and oil the treadmill track before your first use! Pros: This treadmill is super compact and easy to use and stow away. This fits behind our bedroom door when folded up. It also had a safety latch that you use to fold and unfold the treadmill - I'm sure this is a child safety mechanism. I'm 5'9" and I use it most days on speed 3 for walking. My husband is 6'0" and he uses it most days on speed 6 for running. Our treadmill is still going strong! Cons: This treadmill is definitely not silent. It is fairly quiet when used for walking. It is not silent by any stretch of the imagination when used for running. I should start by saying when I first got this treadmill it was for a Christmas present so I was very happy with it. I am an avid runner and in the winter months I hate being inside without being able to run and a treadmill is a life saver. When I first started running on the treadmill it was good, although the belt was a little narrow. After about two weeks the motor just randomly stopped while I was running and shut the whole treadmill off. I spoke to their technical support team and they said I needed to lubricate it which I was doing regularly. I went back and forth with them until finally they sent a new motor. I installed the motor myself of course, and within 2 weeks the same problem was happening. I decided to tighten the motor a little bit to the belt which ended up helping the issue. At that point I limited my speed on the treadmill in hopes to keep it going, because I still needed to run. After another 2-3 weeks the belt would barely move at highest speeds. I would set it to 7mph and it was at walking speeds. This continued for a few weeks and then I tightened the motor again. After a month or two of trial and error, tightening motors, etc. the treadmill finally stopped going faster than a walk at all. Today, I just opened the treadmill up and it looks like the motor mounts bent. There is no way to repair it. After all of the headache and trouble, and dealing with not being able to run on long run days, I've decided to give up and purchase a new treadmill from a reputable brand. I would suggest you do the same. Unfortunately, because I got strung along by their support, I am no longer within my window to get a refund so I guess $600 lost. Hi, I’ve had my treadmill close to week please keep this mind as you’re reading through my review. Overall I think the treadmill covers the essentials to get your cardio in! Set up was quick and efficient because assembly was not required - kudos! Navigating and adjusting the treadmill settings was pretty self explanatory. The treadmill comes with the essential functions such as adjusting speed, start/pause/stop and pre set speed settings. The speaker is OK quality, not the most crisp quality because of the lack of bass but for a home office or small area, the speaker came in handy. Once you get past 5 speed, forget keeping anything on the tray table… it starts to shake and cause a lot of noise. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase so far! ... show more

This treadmill is nice and is definitely worth the money. It folds up and takes up hardly any space. It is a little clunky when you are trying to fold it up or down because it's only supported by two little wheels to maneuver it. The belt is easy to adjust and it's nice that there is a little shelf for your phone or tablet that you can watch something on. I will be honest here. The package did come with a hole in it. There was some cosmetic damage to my treadmill. But I did call Amazon and they refunded me for the damaged issue. They were very nice and worked with me. They gave me the option of either returning the treadmill or a percentage off which I did take the percentage because it was only cosmetic damage. But just keep in mind that when you're ordering something big like this off of Amazon, the chances of it having some kind of box/cosmetic issue or greater than if you were to go to a store and buy it. ... show more

    • Neede new switch after 3 months

Worked good for about 3 months of daily usage, then died during a 3 mph walk and now it will not turn on. Everything looks ok inside and out. We did the motor test using a 9 volt battery- it ran much like the test video . I contacted Sunny, explained everything, sent pictures and video showing the voltage going to the machine but the on/off switch does not turn on the machine and they said they will send me a new on/off switch as it is still under warranty. We are waiting for the new part to be shipped. I will update the review as needed. Update: Aug 26, new switch installed and treadmill is working OK ... show more

In general, I think this is a good treadmill if you just want the basics, no fluff. I am an avid runner (~3 miles/day during the week and 5 miles each day on the weekend) and I wanted a treadmill that is basic and could be folded up and stored without taking up a lot of room. It does just that. However, I did not give it five stars because it has a few quirks that are annoying and that I think a $500 treadmill should have as options, even if it is basic. Pros: 1. Basic - no fluff; I don't use the programs, so I don't know how well they work. 2. Folds up into small space 3. lightweight (for a treadmill) 4. small (narrow) enough it can be wheeled through a doorway 5. good customer service Cons: 1. Display switches back and forth between what is viewed and there is no way to stop it from switching (for example: in one display it will show distance and at the same time the other display shows time; then it will switch to showing calories in one display and steps in the other). This is super annoying because I run time intervals and for 6 seconds of every ten it is showing the calories/steps instead of distance/time and I couldn't care less about calories/steps. I contacted them and they confirmed there is no way to have it show just one variable all the time. For $500, I should be able to stop it from switching back and forth. 2. On occasion the third display (which is speed) will randomly start showing heart rate even when I haven't touched the heart rate monitor at all during the run. And it doesn't switch back to speed for the remainder of the run, so it is hard to run intervals not knowing what speed I'm going. 3. I'm not convinced the speed is accurate. It feels much faster than what is on the display (I have run on many treadmills at various gyms and they all have a very similar feel speed wise). ... show more

Happy with this treadmill purchase for the price point. I did have someone assemble it for me (hired him on task rabbit) because I wanted it to be done correctly for safety. I’m not very handy when it comes to assembling things so if you are you could probably assemble it yourself. I like that it’s compact enough to fit in my apartment hallway without taking up too much room. I’m really impressed with how quiet it is. My knees and shins don’t hurt when I use this treadmill. It runs like a commercial grade quality treadmill. No complaints from neighbors about noise. I can listen to tv or music fine. It’s very sturdy. I like how you can quickly switch from 2mph, 4mph, and 6mph because I like to do HIIT type runs (6 mph 30 seconds, 4mph 30 seconds). It runs above 6mph great as well. I did buy a mat to put under the treadmill so I think that helps it run smoothly. I’m 5’3 and 140 pounds female. I’ve run my whole life and have a lot of experience with treadmills. After doing extensive research I ended up with buying this one. I am 5'11'' and weigh about 208 pounds. I was little concerned about the size of the running belt. After buying it, I realized it is perfect for fast walking. I can run, but it shakes a little bit. I should be able to run if I lose about 10 pounds. It does not have a lot of features but I really do not need them. It comes mostly preassembled. It is space saver and also portable through standard door. But be careful when taking out of box. It is very heavy. It is solid and not cheap looking. The treadmill does not have any bottle holder which was a little disappointing. I will look for a suitable bottle holder that I can attach to the handle. Also the pulse button is on the console. You cannot take the pulse measurement while walking. You have to be still for an accurate pulse reading with your finger. I wish the pulse reading button was on the handle. Overall, I am happy with my purchase . ... show more
